The food side of Anika's Balinese Cooking Class was very well run, great fun, very informative and a wonderful experience. The office administration, on the other hand, is quite poor and needs to lift its game. Don't bother to pay online for your class, despite the discount. We and others paid online yet still had to go to Anika's main... More

Very informative walk on the local market followed by a nice cooking class. The food was all very delicious and you really learn something. Very nice activity when on Bali!

Did the cooking class recommended by a local contact and friend in Bali who had also organized for others that we knew of, so the course came highly recommended. Good size class of 14 (into 3 groups and with 3 cooks), great tour of the markets telling us about all of the ingredients we would be using, what the equivalent... More

Mum and I wanted to try a Balinese cooking class and this was recommended. We were picked up from our villa and taken to the markets where we met chef. He walked us through the markets and clearly explained all the ingredients we would be using, he also advised of suitable alternatives that we could use at home if we... More

This was my second time at Anika cooking school and again it was amazing. The day starts with a very interesting tour through the local kuta market then we head back to the guesthouse for morning tea before preparing all the pastes and spice mixes for the feast. We cooked on Monday which I think has the best menu -... More

This was an amazing experience, my 11 year old daughter joined me and we made sure that we booked the morning session so that we could do the market experience as well! we learned lots and our chef was very knowledgable and had great English, we were able to purchase yummy things to bring back home also! The cooking was... More

This was a great cooking class and compares well to the numerous others I've attended throughout Asia & Australia. The afternoon class starts with a traditional hibiscus drink and traditional afternoon tea. It then starts with an explanation of ingredients, which was informative due to the chef explaining up front the key ingredients, their medicinal and culinary uses and passing... More

I had never gotten around to booking a cooking class on our previous trips, so I was determined to this time. Anika had always been highly recommended, plus it was close to where we were staying. We started the day with a trip to the local market, showcasing the local produce, fresh vegetables and market stalls where every conceivable product... More

Tour of the market was an eye opener. Class and cooking was fantastic. Really good menu and fun. Probably the best cooking class i have done. Will do again when i return to Bali.
