Chilling, swimming, snorkeling and sailing. Captain Nathan with his big moustache and marine humour, speaking English or Spanish knows his stuff, local culture and best places to see Bermuda from the sea. Always fun

Thanks Steve for your kind words. The otherworldly sensation of the power of winds and seas is certainly good medicine & vacation from the stresses and pressures that we all experience. Nothing beats jumping overboard to view the fishes and creatures below to completely revel at the beauty of nature. Ana Luna cruises tend to highlight the importance of our... More

Had a splendid time on the Ana Luna with my family. We went for the glow worm cruise, and boy did they glow! Was an excellent evening of sailing, followed by the glow worms, which we toasted with a glass of champagne and some nibbles Thankyou!

Hi Helen Thanks for the kind note! The Glow worm cruises are a triple winner in two ways: We enjoy the sunset and its aftermath, the 'coming' of the worms & moonrise, champagne toast on the house (way one) & way two, guests, captain & crew and most likely the worms enjoy the stimulating eve on the sea! Thanks again... More

We took our three children ages 15,20,22 for the first time to Bermuda and decided to try the Ana Luna, We had a wonderful private day at Sea with the crew. Appreciate your kind words, Bermudas fish do as well! Having snorkeled and scuba'd in many places I do concur that the marine environment here in Bermuda is one of the best in the world. The environmental regulations here go a long way to keep it pristine. On the scuba scene, which is really stunning, our structure, shipwrecks and diverse marine... More

This was so easy to book, just one email and a confirmatory one the day before, with payment in cash on the boat. Two young "twenty-something" ladies enjoyed a wonderful sunset champagne, snorkel and swim cruise with Nathan as Captain and Christian as a pretty amazing First Mate. Champagne (free) delicious and all drinks otherwise very reasonably priced. Set off... More

Thanks so much for the kind review! Wish your photos of champagne toast were attached, you can feel the chill in the glass.. As I mention often, the guests attitude and enthusiasm are the biggest factor in their enjoyment of our cruises and everything else in the world as well. These ladies were just lovely, we wish that had just... More

We had a good day on the boat and on the water. The sailing was fun we had a little weather but the crew made the best of it. Snorkling was poor due to weather and lighting conditions, but I have not seen great snorkeling anywhere in Bermuda. The crew was great, providing snacks and a good time. At the... More

Thanks for the review and comments. Snorkeling is good here, the focus and ability of individual make it even better. We went to a very intriguing new spot with a man made channel leading to salt water lake. There was kerfuffle with the island guard who told us to stay out although they have no authority over anything not on... More

Totally mesmerizing experience on the 4th July: The sail into the sunset, then back at Grotto Bay to enjoy the mating spectacle of bio-illuminescent Glow Worms, followed by the Independence Day fireworks over Tuckers Point (we could also see Dockyards) and to finish off with the Full Moon rising over the airport. It was almost to much excitement but have... More

Thanks for the kind review. The Glow worms cruises are always popular and with the addition of two displays of fireworks it gave the spectacle of worm love an even higher climax! Glow worms come out two and three days after full moon in the warmer months. The start the glow 59 minutes after sunset, the timing is astonishing! Imagine... More

Gorgeous boat, knowledgeable captain, spectacular views of the island. Captain Nathan took us to a fantastic snorkeling spot, well off the beaten path. Will do this again the next time we visit this wonderful place.

Our family has enjoyed a sail and snorkel trip with Captain Nathan and his assistants (Steve and Christine this year) every year for the past five or six years. We sailed on the swim, snorkel and sunset tour. Left about 530 from Grotto Bay. Everything was "chill" and relaxed; about 12 people in total on the trip. Went to a cove with great spots for snorkeling and then a nice ride in open water under sail and pulled into the dock just as the sun faded behind the horizon.... More

We recently had the pleasure of sailing aboard the Ana Luna and couldn't be happier with the adventure! Have to agree with on one comment on your review. Captain Nathan is obviously lacking in the communication department. We just returned from a 4 night stay at Grotto Bay. While we had a phenomenal vacation and were highly satisfied with the hotel, I am quite bitter and disappointed about our planned cruise. Upon arrival at the resort the concierge booked us on the 3 hour afternoon cruise for Sunday May 24th. Well that morning, looking out at the dock, I said to my wife that I find it strange that the Ana Luna isn't there, as it had been every prior morning during our stay. Later that afternoon, we get to the dock, and there is no Ana Luna to be found. When I called up to the concierge desk they said, "oh yeah, we just found out that Capt. Nathan had booked a private party for the afternoon and failed to inform us." I'm not sure who I am more upset with, Capt. Nathan for his lack of communication, or the concierge desk for leaving us hanging. If we hadn't returned to the concierge desk, they clearly had no intention of telling us there was a snafu. The concierge was apologetic, but in such a situation wouldn't you think the hotel would try to do something to make it up to us ? Ie. Free drinks, a free ride in one of the exorbitantly- priced Bermuda taxis etc. well, there was NOTHING ! we had planned our day around this cruise and got nothin'! Thanks Capt. Nate.

Your comment about the Grotto Bay water is just plain crazy. The water was crystal clear and gorgeous. The beach is no Horshoe Bay or Jobson's Bay, but there were definitely some benefits to being on the calmer bay. And let's be real ... The airplanes were NO ISSUE.
