Having some shoulder issues...
Mar 2020
Helped me out with my shoulder and neck issues. The water is hot 42-47c but you can manage that, just jump quickly in the sea to cool down.

Calm and serene atmosphere
Sep 2019
This Thermal springs offers a quiet and serene atmosphere, large pool with fountains in the middle, covered and open swimming pool with pleasant warm water, not too hot and plenty of space to swim and enjoy. Very relaxing and very nice hotel with a great breakfast. Rooms are reasonably spacious for European Standard and clean, several annex buildings, small beaches and a good selection of fish restaurants with traditional style greek seafood plates. Easy to get there by boat. Worth to go off season, almost no tourists which is nice.

Mineral hot water fall to the sea and provide an excellent blend os cold sea water and hot mineral water. Small pools are craved into the rocks and offer natural relaxing baths

At the end of each day on our way back to the hotel we popped down to the springs for 30min or so for a swim. The beach area is small and very busy but well worth it water is amazing and so good for the skin You can also swim here anytime of day or night

Beautiful

The spa is really beautiful, but it is also crowded. The best time to go is in the evenings, sine the water is warm , sometimes too hot. Very nice skin afterwards. Really enjoyed the time there.

A bit of a shock. Not particularly pretty beach. But one is not a here for the beach. The healing qualities are I think undeniable. However go equipped with proper footwear for slippery rocks. It’s very necessary. We saw someone fall heavily on his back. We did not have footwear that was suitable so just stayed around the edges in the little tiny pools. Little containers seem to be left around to throw water over yourselves. The water is boiling at source. So you must be careful. An Interesting free and easily accessible experience.

Maybe in off season

There are two ways experiencing this thermal spring - the free one where the thermal waters spill into the sea and payable one at the nearby luxury hotel. My review is about the free one.
The beach where the springs spill into the sea is some 200 met from the main street in Loutra Edipsou, by the 5 star hotel, so it's easy reachable. From the moment I saw it, I didn't like it. The place was packed with people occupying small lime rock pools the water cut over centuries, so it was impossible to sit there and enjoy it. I could only walk through (it's very slippery - beware of that) and feel the very hot water (over 50'C I think). With 35'C outside air temp it wasn't pleasant at all (visited mid July).
Then we took a swim in the sea which was also disappointing - the sea was full of jelly fish, and what surprised me most - many sea urchins on the seabed where you can step on.
The whole appearance and experience of the free part looked like a social welfare. Probably the paying part is much better, but we didn't try it. Also, I presume the free part is much better in off season months, when less crowded.
