The beach is quite nice, water is clean weekday mornings but not so much in the afternoon when it starts to be crowded or weekends. Alltogether, a perfect place to chill in a free morning in the heart of Athens.

Feels like a man - made strand with small pebbles/ sand, great when windy, no problem with sand storm, great for swimming. No problem finding a place to put our towels, middle of May.

Don't know the Congo or where it is. Beach ok for sunbathing. Not sure re snorkelling though.
