Head over to the Jorges Rope Swing. A two-way boat ride from Flores will cost you anywhere from 120 to 150 Q. The entrance fee to the rope swing is 25 Q, since this is private property. You're not allowed to bring your own food. The proprietors sell beverages and food on the premises, of which the beers cost 25 Q and rum & cokes 20 Q. There are two diving platforms and one rope swing. A good time and if you're not afraid of heights I highly recommend trying both a dive and a rope jump.

The rope swing is such a great day out and there is a platform of about 3m and a diving board as well as the rope! They only charge 10Q for entrance and the short boat journey costs around 25Q. They also offer food however I didn't consider the nachos to be anything special. Despite this, the place offers undoubtedly one of the best views over the lake for sunset and is home to a number of hammocks in a stunning seating area.

We were in Flores for 2 days only and came here both afternoons because it was so much fun. The sunset from here is amazing and the water is incredible to swim in.

A story about Jorge and his kindness. On the 2nd day I lost my GoPro and was devastated because I was leaving the next day. Jorge had found it the next morning and even taken a boat into Flores to return it to me. I will never forget his kindness and would recommend everybody visit if they are ever in Flores.

Nothing special about this place! Will cost you 150Q to get out there and another 25Q per person to go on the property. Once you’re there they treat you as if you didn’t exists. Absolutly no service at all, we were here for 2 1/2 hrs not once did they ask us if we needed a beer or some food. All they have is beer and nachos. If you have a limited time on Flores recommend skipping this place. We left wishing that we stayed at our hotel pool. Might as well stay on the island of flores, way more to do. Not sure how this place is rated #1 thing to do here

We spent the morning here- only people here. Got a boat over from Flores and asked the driver to pick us up 3 hours later . Think it cost us 4 US dollars each for return journey.
We swam, jumped and chilled. Also played chess and dominoes. A great family activity.
There’s a small rope swing for kids but mine were soon on the big ones. For our adventurous family- a new activity to try.
Also had good tube tyres we could play in the water in. Water was beautifully warm.
I suggest 2-3 hours there- although if you just want some sun and to chill stay longer.
Noticed at our hotel casa lacandon they were hiring kayaks- this would have been a fun way to get there. We didn’t have the time- but saw others had arrived this way as we were leaving.

We decided to come here on our last evening in Flores and so glad we did! For just 10Q each you get to hang out in a beautiful location with a diving platform, board games, hammocks, and of course the rope swing. The water here is clean and so warm, and the views over the lake were simply stunning, especially at sunset.

Just a 5-10 minutes boat ride away from Flores, Jorge's rope is a great place to hang out (literally!). Perfect if you have a couple of hours to fill. Everything is foreseen to chill: hammocks, drinks and games and to have fun in the water: tubes, ropes,.. A very nice spot!

Went here on my last day in Guatemala (10 day trip) and have to say it was the high light of my trip. This old man Jorge meets you and takes you on a boat ride to his island, and there you can swim in the water, jump off the diving board/ rope swing. There are music and games provided, but not rowdy at all. There's also food, it was just such a good time there relaxing, reading in a hammock and watching the sun go down. Definitely worth every penny. If your'e planning your trip to Guatemala, I'd definitely reserve half a day to just chill here!

Great place to chill for a couple of hours on a hot day- down some cold beers and just enjoy the warm waters of the lake. Oh, and if you can find my mate's watch- it's somewhere at the bottom!
