Nice old square

Worth the time to stop by and visit. Old style courthouse square with antique stores and restaurants. Some night life also. A place where you can enjoy sitting outside for dinner.

I love downtown Mckinney. Park is terrible. I don't get there much for that reason. Would like to visit more often.

This area just keeps getting better. Cafes, restaurants, boutiques, antique stores, farmer's market. Plenty to see and do. Old town feeling, with outdoor tables. Picture yourself enjoying a cup of cappuccino and pastry sitting at a bistro table on the sidewalk, watching the people walk by and just let the time pass by. Or have a nice lunch at any... More

We go down to the square at least once a week! This city center sold us on buying in McKinney! Most weekends have family events and all the stores/restaurants are family friendly. Everyone is so nice and friendly. When we have visiting family we always bring them to the square!

Enjoy Landon's Winery or something like The Celt, Spoons or Squareburger and visit everything from elegant kitchen equipment at Etienne to shoes, pet supplies or antiques. There's something for everyone.

The growth of McKinney and some vision have turned McKinney's historic downtown area into a hip place of restaurants, bars, and shops. In our opinion, the area just needs to be defined by "pedestrian only" walking space with more vertical parking and probably our only criticism. A trolley, like San Antonio, would be another option. Heck, we would consider moving... More

McKinney's downtown has so much charm and a lot to offer. There are great restaurants, boutiques, and antique stores galore. There is something everyone will enjoy. They also have fantastic holiday time celebrations, Oktoberfest, etc! Check it out!

We enjoyed all the shops and location. Very friendly town, something for everyone. We shopped, enjoyed a drink at the Pub. Wish we had more time to stroll around.

We love spending time shopping with local businesses and friendly people. There's always something special in each stop you make. Food and shopping with a fun vibe. The performing arts center in the old courthouse usually has great music or a play going on. Lots of choices for restaurants with and without your kids. Come on down to McKinney's Historic... More

Especially on the weekend, this is a great place to come if you're interested in boutiques and antique shopping- with Texas flair! They also have a wide array of restaurants and even a wine bar. Highly recommended!!!
