This park is located in the northwest quadrant of McKinney. It has a rural setting and is surrounded by farmland and wooded areas. It is very scenic and has a lot of open space with great views. It is a great place to spend a few hours or to stay overnight. There is free admission to the park, but camping... More

Not exceptionally challenging, but ample set of trails through the rolling terrain of Collin County. It's a popular spot on weekends.

This park is west of McKinney and easy access. But the amenities are slim. There are 3 Pavillions, the Pecan Grove, the Hill top and the Out Back. The first two have toilet facilities nearby. The two stall toilets do not have doors, so that may be not as good as a port a potty because at least a portapotty... More

Erwin Park has an extraordinary hiking/biking trail. It's not a trail for amateur off-roaders, so please keep that in mind if you head out there intending to enjoy a casual ride under the trees. Most mountain bikers who visit are friendly and courteous. The trail is regularly maintained by D.O.R.B.A., one of the largest off-road bicycle clubs in the U.S.... More

My husband and I have taken our dogs here and really enjoyed the openness and areas where you can walk or run or bicycle. We enjoy the flowers and the beauty that you find in the paths where you can find different varieties of trees.

I've hiked and biked the trail. It's almost 9 miles long and has everything from flat, open trail to technical terrain. I even bring my road bike out and ride the paved road because it's hilly and there isn't much traffic.

I liked the man made trails and how they wove in and out of the trees. The day I went there it had recently rained- not good for walking hiking or even biking for that matter. Nice place to have a picnic. Good for mellow ride with the less experienced girl friend.

As a avid hiker this lollipop trail is worth the visit. Well maintained throughout the year, for the most part the mountain bikers are polite and respectful. Around seven miles overall with plenty of shortcuts leading back to parking lots. Recommend to arrive early to beat the crowds.

This was a nice surprice. Well maintained trails in a large park. Nice view, but hard to find. If you like trail running or biking this is an excellent spot
