Good local museum with interesting artifacts dealing with the Texas & Pacific RR. The station is also used by Amtrak, and is across the track from the Ginocchio, an excellent restaurant.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Such a unique time and place of American history that should be preserved and enjoyed. We enjoyed all the great displays and the engine and caboose outside.

I took my 90-year-old father, a former Texas and Pacific RR employee, to see this museum on a nice spring day. The station itself is quaint and picturesque and the museum, though small, does a good job of telling the story of T&P and its...More

This is a very nice spot with interesting historical artifacts. The kids loved it, and it will pique your interest in trains, no doubt. It is still an Amtrak station, so you can see action at times. Friendly staff!

The real attraction is the building - such extraordinary architecture for a railway station, and it is still an Amtrak stop. The exhibits are nicely done and give a fair idea of railroad history in Marshall. As a bonus there is a well preserved T&P...More

A great place to see the railway history of Marshall TX. The old Locomotive was impressive and the old tools were neat!

A lot of great history about the early years of railroading. You can also climb into an old timey steam engine and other rail cars of the period.

Not a large museum, but gave us a history lesson of what made Marshall back in the day. Would be great for kids too.

It's neat to see these old railroad structures are still around. The T&P depot is very neat. There is a static steam locomotive on display outside as well as a caboose. The depot is neat with kid things for kids and pictures and history for...More

A good place for kids and adults. The old steam engine and caboose are a great place for photos. Amtrak makes daily stops, and a must-see for train enthusiasts. Go!
