Great university with lots of new things going on

The university is established and looks great but they are really building new buildings and dorms. The place looks great. The grounds looked awesome too.

I've been a prof at ETBU for 20 years (4 administrations) and have enjoyed most of my time here. We are student friendly and student oriented. Our primary goal is education. There are opportunities for research. Come visit!

Very limited parking for game. Had to park on a side street and walk quite a distance. Beautiful stadium, with seating on one side and beautiful trees on the opposite side made a great back drop for photos during the game.

Historical College of East Texas. Great campus. I grew up right down the street from the college. Nice.

My youngest went there to play football in 2008. He got to play some until he suffered a broken leg. Had three operations on it and infection. ETBU professors worked with him to finish his work and get his credit for the semester. The President at the time, took an interest and got to know my boy personally. Found out... More

A small Baptist school hidden away on the hilltop on Grove Street. New construction blends into the old. Historic cemeteries are near the campus.

My husband and I took my daughter here to visit and inquire about their Women's basketball program. The entire ETBU family was AWESOME! From admissions to the the basketball staff, everyone was so nice and helpful. They even had my daughters name up on a large board announcing her visit. This is a 1st class campus. The dorms are great.... More

As I often return to ETBU for a short visit, I stand amazed at the appearance of my alma mater. My how it has changed from 1967 to 2014! Never have I regretted attending East Texas Baptist College upon the recommendation of the late Jimmy and Virginia Marshall. I had excellent instructors--Dr. Eunice Ware, Dr. Marvin Harris, Dorothy Nell Rogers,... More

Very nice campus with lots of new building going on this summer. Better than that, the staff was very friendly and helpful. My child is transferring there and had lots of questions for two department chairs, the finance office and the registrars office. They answered as much as they could and he left knowing what else had to be done.... More
