We visited in August, 2020 during the middle of the pandemic. You have to make a reservation online and can only see the outdoor exhibits.

Great time visiting Marfa and first time here. The gurus in visitor center were very nice and helpful. Loved the concrete sculptures (free) and walking around the grounds. They have some other exhibits that have a fee but we were happy enjoying what we did.

perhaps my expectations were too high, but I didn't have the same positive experience that many other reviewers have described. For the effort it takes to get to Marfa, it was not as inspired as I had hoped. And the staff I interacted with were disinterested in ensuring visitors enjoyed the exhibition(s).

We found the experience inspired. Donald Judd’s vision is present throughout the various exhibitions. We chose the self-guided tour which was serene and reflective. Walking amongst the various installations was a journey of discovery.
