A good place to view blue bonnet. It's a very interesting driving experience when I drove there. There are hill, lake, blue bonnet. Everything looks so pretty. The recreation area provide camping area at lake front, but you need book in advance.

An amazing place a little outside of Austin to see and enjoy the bluebonnets. The drive (via US-183N) which winds through Balcones Canyonlands has great views along the way and is a fun getaway from the city!

My friend and I went here last year during wildflower season and saw lots of beautiful and fragrant blue bonnets all over this area. Planning on going back this year to see what is blooming soon.
