This was the most beautiful winery I've visited! Multiple areas where we could enjoy our wine such as a large pavilion style building with live music, a smaller indoor wine tasting building that includes an outdoor patio, a bistro, and a few little tables in the garden area. We had the ham and charred pineapple pizza for lunch, which was very good, too. Most importantly, we found several wines we enjoyed despite my husband not being a "wine-drinker". I wish I lived closer so I could visit again.

Love this winery! We’ve visited 3 different times from the Houston area and plan to return again soon. They have amazing wines, the Bistro has wonderful food, and we really enjoyed sitting on the pavilion listening to live music with our pups while eating pizza. Totally worth a visit!

Beautiful winery up in the hills away from the bustle of the rest of the route 290 throng. Good parking, well signed once you arrive as there is a pavilion where there was live music the Sunday we were there, a bistro and a tasting room. Staff was super friendly. We grabbed a tasting "to go" went over to the pavilion and ordered pizza and a side salad. Both were delivered promptly and my wife really enjoyed her six offerings on the tasting. A little pricier than tastings on 290 but she got six instead of five and the whole atmosphere is way more relaxing. Tasting room was beautiful - two story with elevator if you are so inclined. AC was definitely working fine, but plenty of seating just outside or at the pavilion in the shade. Would recommend highly if you are in the Hill Country.

Awful experience, I would go anywhere else in the area.

I made a reservation to have a wine tasting and a dinner.

When my wife and I got there (after a 2 hour drive) they said they didn’t know we had a reservation, which was made on their personal website, but they would “squeeze us in.”

They were clearly annoyed we were there. It took forever for our server to get there and the table that was set next to us was clearly getting more attention. They brought each guest six glasses for wine tasting, but just kept refilling our dirty glasses every time they got around to us.

We had to order appetizers and dinner when we could catch some one because no one was stopping to ask us.

My wife kept requesting her favorite type of wine. The server kept saying he was saving it for last, but he never gave it to us and just brought us the check.

I felt like a nuisance to this establishment and I will never go back.

I apologize for the slow service and unwelcoming feel during your recent visit.  We obviously stumbled coming out of the gate by overlooking your reservation and were not able to recuperate.  We were short-staffed that day due to two positive COVID tests requiring members of our team to stay home.  We should have blocked reservations for the day and not allowed any same-day reservations.  It was our mistake to continue to allow reservations throughout the day as we were obviously overbooked given the number of team members we had available.  Again I apologize that service was slow and that you felt unwelcomed.  I would like to note that the reason the other tables had 6 glasses and you only had 1 was that the other guests around you reserved for the 3-course experience which requires more glassware.  The $75/person Chef's 3-Course Tasting is a different experience than the standard tasting for which you reserved.  We'll be sure to monitor same-day reservations more closely in the future.  Thank you for your feedback.

Stayed in Marble Falls to celebrate my birthday this weekend. Started our trip out with a wine tasting at Flat Creek Winery. Best decision!! Erica was our Sommelier and she rocked! Very friendly and knowledgeable. She was so sweet and made us feel like we had known her forever. The wines were outstanding! My hubby got the sweets and I chose the reds so we got to taste a wide variety and took 2 bottles with us for the weekend. We will definitely be back 😁

We held our daughter's wedding at Flat Creek, both the ceremony (in the vineyards) as well as the dinner and dance. The venue and staff were awesome, cannot give them high enough praise and thanks. Bianca and Brian in particular were amazing, bending over backwards to accommodate us. We cannot thank them enough. We highly recommend this venue for similar events.

So, apparently you need reservations. Even though, there were only two tables occupied on the inside. We were directed to the pavilion for a preselected $20 flight of 4 wines. Couldn't even select our own. We purchased a $24 charcuterie board that came in a to-go container and was barely enough to feed 2. Would have enjoyed dining and spending our money while enjoying a complete experience, but that did not seem an option because we didn't have a reservation. Truly, there was no one here. Didn't seem right. I hope other people don't have this same experience.

Our college aged daughters have us the tasting, tour, and three course paired dinner as a Christmas present. We had never heard of Flat Creek but thought it sounded fun. Our experience FAR exceeded our expectations. We were shown to a table set up specifically for us. We started with a tasting, which consisted of three wines. All were excellent, and we ended up purchasing some of the Primotiva. The rose was one of the best I’ve had. Our meal was excellent, with cauliflower & cashew soup, salmon over a bed of wild rice with mushrooms and apples, and a baked apple for dessert. Everything on our plates was awesome. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly, spending time to answer any questions we had and making sure that our food was delivered in a timely manner. The service and food is what you would expect from any 5-star restaurant.

Flat Creek is definitely worth the drive. It is convenient to Austin, and even though we are in San Antonio we will definitely be back.

We had a 70th birthday party for my mom here today and everything was absolutely perfect! We had a private room in the tasting building for brunch. It was a beautiful setting, fabulous food and drinks and amazing service. Everyone we worked with was so great and the owners even stopped in to make sure we were enjoying everything. After brunch we enjoyed the live music outside and the kids were able to play disc golf. I would highly recommend Flatcreek for your next event or just a nice afternoon for a tasting. The outdoor pavilion is also dog friendly.

We were renting a vacation home in Lago Vista for a family 50th birthday celebration. We had read good reviews of the winery and decided to enjoy a night off the lake for dinner. We were so glad we made the drive to the beautiful winery. The table was set up nicely for our family of 10 and the menu had many great options to suit our family with dietary restrictions. The birthday girl even got a personalized bottle of wine. The owners were very friendly and accommodating!
