How does this place have so many 5 star reviews? We went on the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend and I was dumbfounded how poor the experience was. Several slides/ the lazy river were closed for the majority of the day. Personally, I am pregnant, so I cannot do the slides and was looking forward to the lazy river. They had no chicken for the meals and the lines were long to get on anything. Not worth the price. Hoping that during the true summer, business is more efficient. The lady at the check in line didn’t give us our wristbands so I had to go back to the office to grab them. Very disappointed. The only reason I didn’t give a 1 star review was because the employees were nice and my husband and our daughter had some fun.

We went there in June 2024 for a field trip. Our principal had stated that we would let the kids roam the park, therefore, I was extremely worried. Well I must share that the park is the perfect size to have a great field trip. The kids were safe and the lifeguards are aware and professional the entire time. The other park guests were great. Completely satisfied with our experience. So much so that I'm taking my son and some of his friends tomorrow. I'll update you all!

Service has went down at the Mansfield location. Season ticket holder for many years. Last year was not great this year worse. Wave pool not working on 3 of our visits. Not enough tubes for back waterslides literally like 6 tubes for 4 slides. Lifeguards not maintaining control of kids jumping in around little ones and over heads of others. Will not be getting season passes next year, not worth it.

The parking is free. We paid for all day tickets. We used this to our advantage by leaving to get food since we could come back. It's a small water park. However, it was not crowded at all. They paid close attention to the social distancing rules. We have a toddler. There was plenty for her to enjoy. We will definitely be back.

We went on opening day and were the first ones in the park! You would think the park would be the cleanest it’s going to be all summer?! WRONG!!
We go to this park every year and it’s always fun but this year we went and it was DISGUSTING!!!
We had a 3/4/8 year old with us. The kiddy splash area has bird poop all Over the slides...then at the bottom of the slides where you end up has MOSS/algae growing on it!! At first i thought it was just chipped paint but then when i wiped it with my hands it cleaned off...so there are kids sliding down mouth open and dirty water with moss is there to great them! The picture i posted doesn’t show how much it was coated.
We then went to the wave pool thinking that would be cleaner...nope...dirt everywhere like bark/sand just sitting there. Plus i saw about 20 ponytail holders and 10 bandaids....i don’t see how that many people could have lost their ponytails and bandaids within 10 minutes of the park being open for the season! We are there on opening day!!
So we head over to the kiddie beach area so the kids can play and after a while we see this 5 ft long worm like thing...at this point we tell the life guard and she tries to collect it...it looked like a tape worm...come to find out it was toad larvae!
So we left! My kids don’t need to be ingesting moss or frog eggs!
I can’t believe it was this dirty on opening day!!

We live close to HF Mansfield, so we have been many times over the years since it opened. It's a small waterpark, but adequate for kids to have a good time. We go less each year because there are a few problems with the park, which makes me dread going. I DESPISE having to take off my water shoes, hat and sunglasses to ride the slides. I have been on water slides at Atlantis, Schlitterbahn, Great Wolf Lodge, Wet N Wild Cancun, and the waterpark at the JW Marriott in San Antonio. None of these other places make guests remove shoes, hats and sunglasses to ride slides or even water coasters. The group of 4 body slides and 4 tube slides are VERY slow. Slower than any other water park that I have been to - NO WAY they could make my hat and glasses come off. I also really don't understand having to take my shoes off on a tube ride - it makes no sense, especially on a double tube with me in the back and my feet tucked under my kids arms. It is very annoying to have to ride with a lap-full of stuff and then have to put it back on at the end.
Another problem that we encountered this week, was there were very few tubes. I realize that it is the end of the summer and school begins in two weeks, but they are a waterpark, they still need to have tubes! We needed a double tube to ride the group of four slides. We had to wait in a line at the end of the slides to get a double float, then go get in the real line. It really stunk, because while we were waiting for a double tube, about 20 people on single tubes went in front of us. There were only SEVEN double tubes for the entire ride!! That is ridiculous! The lines were only half way down on those slides, because that is all the tubes that they had. There were also people only halfway down on the halfpipe (yellow/blue and orange/blue stripped slides), because there weren't enough tubes there either. People were waiting in another line at the bottom for a tube. There were also VERY FEW tubes in the lazy river. At one point, I could see from the bridge all the way down to the zero entry. There were only FOUR tubes on that entire side of the lazy river. There were so few tubes it was impossible to get one.
Other observations are that the lifeguards and food service people are slow and rude. There seems to be no Customer Service training. The girl that took our order for food was so lifeless and cold, it seemed like maybe a zombie had taken over her body. Also, there is a new thing that they are doing on the slides that makes lines go incredibly slow. The person in front of you has to go down the slide and get out of their tube before you are even allowed past a chain to get into your float. This process adds at least 30 seconds, usually longer, between each guest. If there are twenty people in front of you, your wait in line is now at least 10 minutes longer due to this new policy - and the life guards are in NO hurry either.
We only went once this year. We used to go at least three times each summer. I would love to buy a season pass and be able to take my kids several times in the summer, but I won't be back until I hear that they have thrown out their ridiculous rules and have become more customer friendly.

My daughter and I were there years ago. WE WERE RACIALLY DISCRIMINATED AGAINST.
A young kid was tending a ride. My daughter and I were watching the kids come off a slide. I said something to my child in Spanish. The “white”
Teen started yelling at me instructing me to tell him what I said. I told him I was not talking to him. He kept insisting on me to tell him what I said in Spanish which he did not appreciate me using the Spanish language. He called his manager and the manager yelled and screamed at me in front of everyone. He told me that when a staff member tells me to do something, I better do it.
I called the City. Later a PR person, from Hawaiian Falls called me. I told him all I wanted was apology and he said that they could not do that! The PR person said he could not make the manager apologize to me. I have never gone back because they do not want Mexican people in that park!!!
I should’ve called LULAC!!!

I would rank this higher if the Mansfield, Texas location would repair the outdoor showers. Our family likes to rinse off the chlorine from the swimsuits before we leave. I wrote a written request on a survey to have the showers repaired and included my contact information. I was never contacted and the showers were never repaired and could not be used for the 2012 season. Even public beaches have a shower or garden hose to use to get the sand off. Next time IF we go back, I will post a photo of the broken showers.

The best of both world's. There is a far number of rides included some new ones that opened recently. There's is a total of 13 different slides, wave pool, lazy river, younger child play area, and a child play area. The park is far enough out that you will have days when the park isn't packed, but on the other hand it's quiet a long distance to drive. pricing is cheaper than most water parks and the parking is free.

Can you wear prescription sunglasses (or regular glasses) on the slides?

Not normal prescription glasses unless they are swimming goggles or attached to your head I think
