Right now the water features are closed due to the flood damage from Harvey. Still a nice, clean, and quiet park to relax.

This is a great family park. We visited in January. There is a frisbee golf course that my husband enjoys. There are some large ponds for recreational boaters. We plan on going again in the summer.

Thanks for the Trip Advisor review-However, I think you may have visited Village Creek State Park in Arkansas rather than ours in Lumberton, Texas since our park does not have a Frisbee golf course or large ponds for recreational boaters.

Thank you for your recent visit and review of our park. Unfortunately, water & electric campsites are fairly close together as they had to be built on a small hill above the floodplain of the creek. Primitive tent campsites are more spaced out along the...More

Thank you for your recent visit to the park. Currently, only the walk-in tent campsites are still closed for repairs from recent flooding-all other facilities are open. All repairs from Hurricane Rita (2005) and Hurricane Ike (2008) were completed several years ago. Note-it will take...More
