I went to a women's basketball game on a Friday evening and parking was free. The ticket purchasing line was long and slow, but someone had extra tickets and was giving them away and I got one and saved quite a bit of time. The arena has a good, broad upper concourse and the seating bowl goes down from there. The seats are upholstered. It is almost an NBA quality arena except for the seating capacity. The scoreboard, message board, and public address system are all excellent. Sight lines are good, as well. There are plenty of concession stands including one selling Texas Tech merchandise.

We attended a TT basketball game at the arena. It is a good facility that was built 20 years ago and has been well maintained. One drawback is the number of steps needed to enter the facility and a limited number of elevators. The HVAC system can be problematic if you're sitting in the upper levels as we were.

Venue is really good, not a bad seat there. Parking wasn't too bad either. The broker that sells tickets to this venue, however, sold me seats that didn't exist which the ushers didn't know what to do with us and the other three rows of seats sold that didn't exist. Part of this is the local ticket company, but the other part is how poorly the staff handled the situation, we didn't have seats (we were able to get in) but poor management ruined a trip.

A lot of steps outside and stairs inside. I had a bad knee and would not have been able to use all the stairs. If needed be sure you ask to use handicap elevators. Staff was very helpful with this.

Had a great time at the United Supermarkets Arena watching a Texas Tech Basketball game. The facilities were well maintained and clean. Plenty of places to grab food, drinks, Tech clothing and memorabilia. Seat prices were affordable and the they kept the arena nice and cool. Parking was a bit crowded but manageable. Would recommend seeing a game there.

It's really good for Tech basketball games, graduating students, and concerts. But we need more types of events like rodeos, or even a job fair. Maybe even concerts that young people may want to see. All in all its still a great venue.

My suggestion is to go at least 2 hours early to get a decent seat. If you have reserved seating the parking is your biggest problem. I have no suggestions except get there early

I've been to concerts, games and graduation ceremonies here. The outside was beautifully designed to continue with the Spanish Baroque architecture of the rest of the Texas Tech University. There are huge screens that show detail that you might miss from cheaper seats. This has been a great addition to the community.

The elevators are on the SW entry, where is the handicap seating located?

My husband is 83 and has difficulty walking very far, is there handicap parking and is there an elevator so he can avoid the stairs leading up to the building. We are attending our granddaughter's graduation there May 10th. Your response will be greatly appreciated.
