Joyland...a Lubbock Tradition

Not too big, but not too small. Joyland is fun for an evening diversion. Arm band pricing is reasonable. (The best deal is to check their website and go on free drink night... read more

I hadn't been here in ages until I took my nieces and step sons. Everything is the same as far as the rides being similar to those in a carnival. You have the lift ride that takes you all around the park and the small kiddie rides for the little ones that aren't tall enough to ride the bigger rides.... More

It was exactly as I expected and wasn't crowded at all for a Saturday; but maybe later at night it gets busier. A solid 3 hours of fun. I like the fact that you don't have to pay a huge amount if you're not going to ride the rides ($5.50). All the staff were nice and even got my kid's... More

The amusement park was GREAT, being from out of town - we were trying to find things to do to entertain our teenage daughter and she loved it !! She loved the mix of different rides and water rides to cool off - the soda's we had from the concession stand tasted like they needed to be changed because they... More

Man it was hot!! But with the misters around the park and water rides we cooled off real quick. No Disneyland for sure but kids kept saying they liked it just as much as wonderland park. No regrets we will be back very soon!!

Not too big, but not too small. Joyland is fun for an evening diversion. Arm band pricing is reasonable. (The best deal is to check their website and go on free drink night. Sodas are included in the arm band price.) There is an assortment of rides from wee ones to thrill seeker and all those in between. They have... More

This is the perfect spot for children 10 and under! It's impeccably clean, the staff are super friendly, clean cut, and the concession prices beyond reasonable. EVERYTHING about this place is family friendly. The rides are from yesteryear, with their vintage color schemes, chain pulley, and metal rails. Some floors are wooden and make the most awesome "carnival noise". This... More

It not Six Flags, It is not Disneyland but it does entertain the children on a hot night in the summer. The rides are maintained well. There is music playing. There is cold drinks. Cotton Candy! Popcorn! Sky Ride! Enough said! All together this makes for a fun evening for the family!

A nice variety of things to do...some rides were older and kind of nostalgic, which is a great experience for kids. Everything appears to be in good condition and we'll taken care of.

I take my three year old here and he loves to ride the train. It's very inexpensive and a good time.

This amusement park is what I would call cute. There isn't really enough thrill rides for a teenager but for a younger child it's perfect. The place is small enough where you don't feel overwhelmed if you go with little ones. They have plenty of little kid rides and some for adults but only one main roller coaster. My daughter... More
