If you are a collective of small business owners, most who have been around for quite some time, how do you go about getting the attention of City Hall that in order for downtown to be successful, you have to support the people who are already there? Well, The Depot District has not found that formula yet, and the city... More

We were hear when the school was not in session so we didn't expect it to be busy but it's was pretty much dead. We walked the super small strip with a couple bars and a couple restaurants not much going. I've been here previously for a car show and it was fairly crowded so pick your days right if... More

Not real impressed with the attempt to show off old town Lubbock, needs a lot of TLC but has potential for a great area

When I moved here, I really hoped that I'd love the Depot District. It has a piano bar, which I love, some decent restaurants, and a lot more bars in walking distance. Seemed like the perfect F or Sat night place. But in actuality, it's more of a student hangout, a place where folks can get roaring drunk and find... More

Buddy Holly, John Denver, Mac Davis, Waylon Jennings (Littlefield) & Joe Ely are but a few of the many talented musicians who have called Lubbock home & the tradition continues. Catch an early show at the Cactus Theatre, grab a pizza at the Triple J Chophouse then head on over to the Blue Light Live for an enjoyable evening of... More

It depends on what you are doing in this area. During the day, there are some cute unique shops and cafes. You must be careful when the sun goes down. It tends to get a little dangerous. There are plenty of night clubs available.

The Depot District is home to a wide variety of some of the best art and entertainment venues, restaurants, wineries and bars that Lubbock has to offer. The Buddy Holly Museum and Walk of Fame celebrates the West Texas music scene and are certainly worth the inexpensive admission. The Cactus Theater is another local staple which showcases local musical talent... More

It is a good place to just walk around and see all the neat places on the Depot district, or spend an evening and visit some of the places for food or entertainment.

It's about the only place to go if you're in Lubbock. Here you can park your car and enjoy the nightlife. A pretty good spot for dinner is Triple J's. Usually sound pretty good live entertainment can be found here. From rock to country, check out the piano bar, it's a good one
