We had an amazing time at Waterloo! It was clean and extremely well run. The entire staff was so friendly, from our boat captain (Captain Jack) to the management staff, lifeguards and food/drink personnel. We were pleasantly surprised by the food truck food - it was excellent and very reasonably priced as were the drinks. I would definitely recommend to choose an early time slot and then see about getting a $10 repeat ticket for the big obstacle course later in the day. We noticed that around 2-3pm, there were a lot fewer people on it. We would have gotten extra tickets, but we were just too tired by that point.

We went to visit family in Austin and decided to try out the waterloo adventure park. My girls are 10 and 8, and my Niece and Nephew are 6 and 8. All are pretty active kids.

The park picks you up on a pontoon boat and takes you for a quick trip to the park as there is no road access to get there. Its a fun way to get to the park and they also cover some safety procedures on the way.

At the park, it's well laid out and spaced out, with lots of free chairs and umbrellas to setup camp, a bar for the adults, food for everyone, and great amenities like changing rooms and bathrooms. They have an actual Bathroom trailer, not little blue rooms - which is so nice.

Each hour, they clear the course, sanitize various handles, do a quick safety talk and then release the next wave of people onto the course. It was so much fun. I was significantly winded several times and fell into the water more times than I can count. The Kids loved it. Kids went on the course twice, but once was more than enough for me. There is also a free swim area with additional obstacles to climb and jump off of while you are waiting for your turn on the course.

In all - it was a great day. Staff and the owner, Wade, were super helpful. In fact, I lost my wedding ring while on the course, and Wade was extremely helpful. I was able to hire a local dive shop "Lake Travis Scuba" - WHO FOUND MY RING! In 50' of water.

I'll definitely be back the next time we are in town.

An amazing experience that completely exceeded my expectations!! The lake water felt so pleasant to swim in, and the course is so much fun for the whole family. Lots of cool obstacles to get past and jumps and slides for those who want to (I loved doing those). The sitting areas outside the water are also gorgeous, the food truck sells great food, and the vibe around the area is so peaceful and happy. There are umbrellas and sand as well, and the life jackets are some of the most comfortable for swimming that I've put on. Overall an incredible experience!!

We had an amazing time and stayed all day! I took my boys age 14 and 10 and they stayed busy the entire time on the different obstacles. My boyfriend and I enjoyed them as well. From the time we arrived and left all staff were very friendly and helpful. I liked that we were able to keep our distance from other guest unless we were on the obstacles, which is expected. Staff offered us hand sanitizer several times while there and had it available in front of the food truck. My only complaint would be the menu selection/cost at the food truck and drinks. Gatorade was $2.50 each and even water was $1.25 a bottle, which all adds up very quickly. What we did select at the food truck was good though. We had the beef sandwich which was okay but the pizza rolls were really good. Overall we had a wonderful day and would definitely go back!

Such a fun time! Loved that there was sand, gave it more of a beach feel as opposed to feeling like you were at the lake. Plenty of picnic tables and chairs with lots of shade! Food and drinks were excellent and very reasonably priced- much cheaper than I expected. The main course was a blast! Harder than I thought it would be and I highly recommend wearing water socks. The additional inflatables were really great also. Perfect for all ages. You can easily stay for hours without getting bored. Our pontoon captain, Capt Jack, was personable and entertaining without being annoying or “too much”.

This place is awesome! It is a lot of fun but can be very exhausting :)
The two gentlemen that brought us over (Captain Jack & I do not remember the other's name) were very friendly and helpful.
My only "issue" was with two of the inflatables on the one side you can access all day. The giant slide and iceberg. It was extremely challenging for many kids - even many adults to start climbing on them. the other inflatables have a platform that make it easier for all to get on. It would be helpful to have some sort of step/ladder for these so all could enjoy them.

My family and I had tons of fun, obstacle course was a lot harder than it seems in picture but very thrilling. It was like an adventurous work out 😄 we were definitely tired but very happy to have gone. We plan on returning when it’s not so hot and earlier than a 4pm session to enjoy the day at Waterloo, safe for all ages, our family includes a 7 and 11 year old.

This was one of our family’s faves on our June vacation to New Braunfels! Well organized company, clean facility, polite & friendly staff. The obstacle course, swim areas and “beach” area are top notch! Drinks and food are available & reasonably priced. HIGHLY recommend this activity if you are anywhere near Lake Travis!!

We would like to thank the folks at Waterloo Adventures for an awesome fun filled family adventure. The service was prompt and friendly starting with the boat ride to the island. The guide did an excellent job answering all our questions and explaining the day. The set up of the obstacle course, the layout of the facilities and numerous other non obstacle course things to do on the island all contributed to the fun experience. We won't hesitate to come back and this time bring out of town guests! :)
