It’s a great big park with multiple playgrounds for kids and a dock for adults that want to do water sports. Also, it’s a hot spot for Pokémon Go.

This is a nice local park in Galveston County. There are a lot of areas to play and enjoy nature. There is a new playground as well. I only wish the bathrooms would be updated and there were a lot more regular swings available (too many baby swings)

It is a truly a beautiful park with a gorgeous Spanish style building! My Grandpa Ellis volunteered there years ago, as a carpenter, to do renovations!!

Walter Hall Patk is clean and spacious. Occasionally they have community activities such as concerts there, because it is big enough to support this type of event. There are sports fields and it backs up to a big lake. I would give it 5 stars but the lake isn’t very clean. There isn’t any trash around it, and it looks ok, but looks are deceiving. It is polluted. You’d probably get sick if you swam in it or ate fish from it. There is no swimming or fishing, however. There are facilities for bar-b-cuing and hosting birthday parties and whatnot, and there are lots of trees for shade. It’s nice—just don’t go in the water!

Very nice League City Park. Especially nice for Community Events , I.e., NAMI SHRIMP BOIL AND Hawaiian Luau. Pavilion is excellent for holding functions such as these.

Large park with a lot of trees at one end and lots of open space at the other end. There is almost always something going on here. I love to walk here. There is some (very slight) elevation change.

There are two entry/exit points for Walter Hall Memorial Park in League City, at opposite ends of the park along State Route 3, the history Houston-Galveston road, on the north side of League City.
Galveston County has an active, high-quality parks and recreation program, and WHMP is a gem among their excellent facilities. I've visited this park on hundreds, perhaps thousands of occasions over a period of 15 years plus--it's one of the stops on the test-drive route I've shared with several customers nearly every day of those years, and I've visited dozens of times with my wife and with friends.
The park abuts Clear Creek, and features an excellent boat ramp for launching watercraft. The creek can take you through Clear Lake to Galveston Bay, the Gulf of Mexico, and points beyond. It also features interesting aquatic life, including large alligator gar (don't trail your fingers in the water!). There is an informative nature trail along the bayou, acquainting the young and young at heart with the local flora and fauna. The park has numerous parking areas, and sponsors a variety of activities--the annual League City Music festival, a summer beer festival, various soccer and softball tournaments among them. The large pavilion can be reserved for conferences, family reunions, wedding receptions and the like. The extensive picnic and family recreation spaces offer open-air, roofed and even indoor seating for families and larger groups.
There are two magnificent oak trees near the northern entrance, and League City's 'old town' area, a few blocks further south and east, features a cathedral of amazing live oaks sheltering another gem of a park. WHMP also has a couple of well-maintained (and seldom-used) composite tennis courts. Nature? Sports? Fellowship? Picnicking/Tailgating? Kayak fishing? Community life? This park provides a quality venue for these and many other recreational and family activities. Hope to see you there!

What is the five acrea walk area

It is a paved walk for the most park. Some near Clear Creek. You can also bike.
Will the park be open to the public tomorrow? Or will everyone have to pay to get in?
