A native of Laredo, I attended this church for 12 years as I went to the school adjacent to it. It has all the luster of time gone by. It is just as beautiful as when I was a little girl in the 50's.

This is another one of Laredo's beautiful churches. If you love architect or just love churches then this is a must see along the way.

It's pretty typical for a church in the area, it's size and it's age. The architecture is nice and has held up pretty well over the years. If you're touring around in the area, sure stop.

Beautiful the architect is just awesome. It is a shame some of the Catalikce School is run down next to it.

As you walk up facing the cathedral about several feet from the door you can see the out line on your left facing down of the original location you can just imagine what was it like back then and it was rather small 12 by12 maybe I don't know but I tell you I like to sit in the plaza... More

The church is well maintained inside, and inviting. Bright and airy. Felt very free to go inside and look around.

This is a historical treasure with clean architecture and simple beauty. There are ornate fixtures but the focus is spirituality. The priest I heard was well-spoken; he shared a practical message relevant to the world with an emphasis on service and charity. Having visited impressive cathedrals and austere monasteries, I can't say this is a breathtaking building. It is a... More

I've been a member of St. Augustine for over ten years. I like coming to the oldest church in Laredo. Many of my family members have been baptized, confirmed, or had their first communion here.
