Great little gift store! Loved taking pictures by the worlds largest spur! We were on our way to Lampasas Trade Days and found this! It was a great Day!

We saw a matching spur later in Hico, TX out in front of a motel. Had a hard time finding anyone who knew exactly where the spur was in Lampasas. It was a little underwhelming.

We went to Lampasas to meet my friend & hubby to celebrate her birthday eating at a restaurant in town. We saw the Spur and decided to get our picture taken for fun!

It is the largest spur it lights up at night. Colors are changed with seasons and for the Football Badgers.

It's very big. You can drive all around it. It is not too far just out of town. There's even a little gift shop.

Our grandkids endured a Texas-sized cheesy photo of us with them here. As a non-Texan, it was as BIG as I thought it should have been and was fun to visit. I know I will not forget the event and it was something different to...More

We weren’t planning on going out of our way to see it. It it was in the parking lot of the Sweet Pickle Deli where we stopped for lunch so it was cool to see. Figured why not, and got a picture with it. Still...More

This is one Texas sized spur, neon lights included! Yes haw! The walk is nice past the spring, but the spur itself is more neon than rustic.

I guess I'm jaded by living here but this spur is mostly just a tourist trap. I mean, you don't have to stop and see it and hey, it's a GIANT SPUR.

This is in a parking lot of real estate agent. There's the exact same spur in Hico, Texas. If you've seen the original Family Vacation movie with Clark looking for the "Second largest ball of string..." you won't be disappointed. I can't find a reason...More

Come on, people! It's the World's Largest Spur! How can you NOT put this on your itinerary? Back in the days of the Great American Road Trip, when families actually spent time together, things like this were destinations, not ho-hum-whatevers on your way to someplace...More
