Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Yorkshire Arboretum in the summer. It was lovely to see so many unusual trees and how well the grounds were kept. A good place for a picnic.

The trees were not as colourful as we thought they might be at this time of year but that's in the hands of the weather. As other reviews have said the cafe staff seem to be running on their own time, if you order two...More

Huge space to explore. Lake is lovely to walk round. Pine trees on bank have interesting undergrowth. Huge swathes of grass with paths mown through. Never seems overcrowded. Cafe & art display are worth stopping for.
