Overall we 3 women had a fun time. Bring towels because there is no sand, only rock! There were way more men than women, and it seemed that the foot traffic near us specifically was high, but luckily we aren't shy so it didn't really bother us.

Large rocky lake beach. This is not your typical nude beach in the US. It is all rocks and you need a chair or a Matt. We had towels and it hurt sitting on the rocks. Wear water shoes to get in the water but very pretty.

Went with my GF and had a blast. Took a picnic and some beers and worked on some tan! Shoes or sandals reccomended as there is no beach, only rocks. The drop off in the water is several feet with ledges to stand on.

I have dived from a boat off the shore of Hippie Hollow enough times to make an observation. Since the Lake has come back up, it seems it's only a short walk from the parking lot to the shore. Seems to be quiet during the week, but crowded during the weekend afternoons. We find a lot of lost sunglasses in... More

This place is not for kids!! It is a fun place to people watch. You will see nude people!! This place is not for you if you do not like nudity! You can swim or sit and have a picnic. There are boats in the water but you can take a tube and float in the water. Go when there... More

Lake view is good, you can get some good pictures, trek around, sit down on the rocks and gaze at the lake. Don be surprised to find people being conveniently naked, because, yes this Texas's only clothing optional park. Though any kind of unethical activities, lewd behavior is not encouraged. People are quite self contained :-) and not disturbing, so... More

Hippie Hollow is Texas' only legal clothing-optional lake beach. it's a blast! A few tip to make it easier: 1. BRING SUNBLOCK. Texas sun is strong and you don't want to sunburn your...... 2. Bring a 2nd set of shoes you don't mind getting wet. I would recommend old sneakers-so they won't come off. It's rocky and you will be... More

Nude sun bathing is the main attraction for this park. From the parking lot, you walk down a steep incline to the lake shore. Best to wear tennis shoes because flip flops won't cut it. Bring your own food and drink; there are no restaurants or snack bars. However, there are several rest rooms. Crowd was very easy going, mostly... More

It is your typical nude beach area. There were no one just standing around to look. It was a very comfortable area. It is very rocky is you want to get to the water. We tried and got as far as the water and it was so slippery we were afraid we would hurt ourselves. We wish we would have... More
