The quilts, of which there were many, were among the most beautiful I've seen. Not only were the Kaffe Fassett quilts spectacular, but the traveling exhibit by Texas quilters (two from my neck of the woods) were equally impressive. I had not known that the...More

This quilt museum is small but has a lot to offer. The variety and quality of the quilts is spectacular. Quilts are changed out quarterly. It was worth the drive from Houston. There is also a lovely garden outside that you can walk through and...More

We took our granddaughters during Spring Break. They are 9 and 7years old. We all loved it. I would highly reccomend a visit there if you find yourself in the La Grange area.

Not a whole lot to see compared to the costs incurred. I suggest save your funds and use them in other ways.

While not a quilter myself, I was impressed with the examples of the craft on display in the TQM, which is located in downtown La Grange about a half-block from the courthouse. Both technical craftmanship and artistic vision are evident in the quilts displayed in...More

What a prize of a place. The workmanship and skill shown by the people is remarkable. Only by visiting can you see this most beautiful museum and the magnificent quilts hanging in this great environment. A must for any art lover who visits the area.

These could keep you warm and entertained all at once! Never knew a quilt could be so beautiful or tell a story! Exhibits change every few months, so go back often!
