We visited the Jersey Barnyard to run in their Pumpkin Run 5k race. The entry fee included free admission to the grounds and we got to see all the activities they offer as well as enjoying a beautiful run that took us through the farm...More
We came for the pumpkin run and left sadly disappointed. They charged for parking when it clearly said free parking in our race packets. A la cart everything from milking the cow to entrance fee and hayride fee! Food trucks?! What food truck? We understand...More

The kids love this place. You can milk the cows, give a calf a bottle and get some ice cream. Great family owned dairy in the heart of Texas. I love raw milk, as pasteurized milk products cause much displeasure for my system.
This is the third time we’ve visited Jersey Barnyard. If you enjoy outdoor activities, this is a fun stop if your in the area. Kids enjoy seeing all the different animals, feeding some of them, and milking a cow. The kids found it so cool...More
We stopped here and did the self tour with our 7 year old and 5 year old. Our kids fed the baby cows bottles and petted the animals. They ran thru the hay maze about 3 times - and enjoyed every minute!!! We topped off...More
We had a lovely time here. The Jersey Barnyard is a real working dairy and you get up close with many of the animals. Undoubtedly this would be a great place to take the kids, but we were by ourselves on this trip and enjoyed...More
My family (my wife and I and two sons 8 and 9) visited this on our day trip to La Grange. What a wonderful place. I grew up on a farm in Arkansas so this wasn't a huge deal for me but it was nice...More
We have done the self guided tour twice, primarily to feed the animals. If you love animals as I do, you will have a great time. The goats are hilarious and the calves have angel faces. We bought some multicolored eggs to take home as...More

Check their webpage for anything special going on, if you don't mind a crowd. With Halloween coming up, there are activities for the little ones. The week before Easter, there is an Easter egg hunt, pictures with bunnies, along with all the day-to-day activities. So that the heat doesn't get to you or your little ones you might consider going in the fall or spring. Some days in the winter are great too. During the week, you may want to check to make sure there aren't any school field trips going on; it is a busy day when there are school children running around.

We are a licensed to sell Grade A raw milk. No cream is removed. Gallons, halves, and pint are available. We also have pint cream and halves in skim. We do not sell pasteurized whole milk at this time.
