Facility needs to be cleaned up. Lots of junk sitting around, such as a broken down lawn mower. Owners need to clean up the place!

We drove 2 1/2 hours to La Grange. When we arrived at the barnyard, was so sure my two grandkids and hubby would look at me.....and ask me what was I thinking!! We were the only visitors. The place looks a little rundown, but then it is a working jersey milking farm. We took the tour so my city grandkids... More

We had a great time at Jersey barnyard and will be back! The farm was clean (for a farm), organized, and the animals well taken care of. The kids and I loved feeding the ducks, rabbits, goats and mostly the baby calves! It was worth the extra $2/ bottle. We did the guided tour with a hayride and opportunity to... More

We may have been the only people there without children but I had as much fun as any kid! I love animals and I could have fed those goats from my hand all day long. (Believe me, they would have been up for it.) It was a joy to give a bottle of milk to a perfect angel-faced brown calf.... More

I was excited to check this place out! We opted for the self guided tour & they give you a map. You have the option to buy food for the different animal to feed & get a close encounter. I fed ducks, bunnies, Guinea birds, and of course the Jersey calves! Such a fun experience, with animals everywhere! This cute... More

We were passing through en route from New Orleans to New Braunfels, and stopped off at the Jersey Barnyard for a couple of hours. The farm was easy to find, just off a main road in La Grange. First we cooled off with ice cream as we looked around the gift shop. We were hoping to take the guided tour... More

The Barnyard is definitely worth a stop if you are going by, but I would not make the 2 hour trip for this again on its own. 1/2 of the tour is the farm animals which are located around the "store" (donkeys, shetland pony, chickens, pigs, ducks, turkeys, calves and goats). If you pay for the tour, you get food... More

I am so glad you came to visit our farm!! We, too, are disappointed that happened to you. :( I am not sure what the egg situation was that morning but I would like to note that we make all efforts to take care of all our repeating customers and new customers the best we can. This time of year... More

I was super excited to be able to Visit this farm. I had heard that you could bottle feed jersey cows. I was a tad bit disappointed in the pen conditions of the jersey calf. I'm not sure if this the proper way of having them penned, but their enclosures were very small. I did get to bottle feed the... More

Thank you for visiting our farm! First, there should have been an explanation for the pens in either the guided tour or the information you were handed with the self-guided tour. This is the "nursery" part of our farm. Calves are raised in these pens while they are being bottle fed and they are only in them for two months.... More

We made a stop during Antique Week to take my granddaughter to a local farm. The Jersey Barnyard is a must stop. We took the guided tour and purchased a milk bottle for each of us to feed the baby calves. The animals are so friendly even the chickens and those loud turkeys. The hayride was great on a beautiful... More

We visited during spring break and had a wonderful time. My kids got to see and pet all sorts of farm animals, bottle feed a calf, and milk a cow. Everyone was super friendly. Be sure to grab a bottle of raw milk when you leave. So tasty!
