Camped here a couple of times for one night each. This is a nice park on the Guadalupe river. There is fishing, swimming, and even kayak rental. The park is on both sides of a small highway. The campgrounds on the south side of the highway have hiking and biking trails. The campground is tidy, and pretty well kept. The... More

This is one of the first places that I visited when I moved to Kerrville. A few friends and I went there and had a blast. That was a few years ago, so I'm not sure how much it changed. I would highly recommend it, if it's still available!!!

We spent one night here in our camper. The RV section is nice with quiet setup in a peaceful, remote atmosphere. There is a beautiful river walk and butterfly garden for great photo ops. We highly recommend this for a longer stay as well.

We camped in the park for 6 days. The grounds were beautiful with lots of wildflowers and wild life. Facilities were very neat and clean. Lots of activities in the park.

Nice park located on the Guadalupe River with picnic tables and camp sites. There are kayak rentals available with prior notice. You have direct access to the Kerrville Riverside Trail. But remember there is a park fee to be paid at the entrance.

We were looking for a riverside setting to have lunch with our disabled Corgi TullyMars. Paid our $8 and entered the park only to encounter a "no pets beyond this point" sign on the road leading to the water. Apparently the only option available to those of us with pets is to tour the campground or look at the children's... More

There is a new walking trail from Schreiner park to town--8 miles rt. If you like a cold beer, as I do, when you get to the bridge across the river toward the library, cross and go right about two blocks and you come to Grape Juice. They have about 12 draft beers and more wines by the glass. That... More

We have stayed at this park twice with our little travel trailer. It is a very nice park with relatively clean bathrooms. The side across the road from the main gate is quieter. You get a lot of noise from the road and people across the river if you camp on the other side. When we got there this trip... More
