A beautiful place for a day out in early spring. The area has been repaired from the October storms including the riverwalk to the park. Nice campsites, canoes will be out soon, boat launch.

Kerrville Schreiner Park is separated into two sections, divided by Hwy 173/Bandera Hwy. One side is the river side. There are no RV sites with an actual river view, but they are within walking distance of the river. There are four cabins with a river...More

I love running in different areas while traveling, so took my dogs and headed to this trail. Unfamiliar with the area or this park, I was a bit confused when I drove up and there was a gate. It took a little time and effort...More

This park has come a long way. With hookups for all size trailers & RVs. The river access is beautiful. Convenient to Kerrville. This park is clean, quiet and pet friendly! We will be back!

Kids under 17 can fish without a fishing license. A very nice concrete dock with nice wooden pier. Nice, clean playground and bathrooms. Well maintained. Several cabins right by the river. Havent stayed in the cabins but plan to do so in the fall.

Used to be a Texas state park but now run by the city. Full rv hookups only $28/night which is a good deal for this well maintained park.

The staff was very helpful when I visited the park. We went to check out the recreation center to reserve for a future function. Very clean, and will house about 100 people.

Were it just the park and facilities I would have given 5 stars; I love the park, go there weekly to walk the trails with my small dog. The problem is that in spite of the rule that all dogs be on leash at all...More

We camped here 3 nights over Thanksgiving and the campgrounds were nearly filled to capacity. Deer Field Loop is quiet, except for campers with barking dogs, and there were LOTS of barking going on! Deer seemed to be accustom to campers as they roam fairly...More

yes, very open and friendly to all. Scooters and pets. no real walkways though. Roads are flat and not too busy, everyone is careful because there are usually alot of kids. Very family friendly
