Kids under 17 can fish without a fishing license. A very nice concrete dock with nice wooden pier. Nice, clean playground and bathrooms. Well maintained. Several cabins right by the river. Havent stayed in the cabins but plan to do so in the fall.

Used to be a Texas state park but now run by the city. Full rv hookups only $28/night which is a good deal for this well maintained park.

The staff was very helpful when I visited the park. We went to check out the recreation center to reserve for a future function. Very clean, and will house about 100 people.

Nice park, heard it was dog friendly, which it was, but no secure area for small dogs to run/play off leash. Our 3 small dogs were stressed with evacuating from Hurricane Harvey and needed a safe fenced area to run off leash for a bit....More

The site is beautiful with trees and the river. There is a hall that can serve as a meeting place for a family reunion. Several camping sites are available in addition to cabins. People were one the river in canoes and playing in the water...More

Good place for family fun in the sun. Hiking, Biking, Swimming, Fishing, Kayaking and more. Play grounds and fountain for the little ones as well as a dog park for your four legged kids.

yes, very open and friendly to all. Scooters and pets. no real walkways though. Roads are flat and not too busy, everyone is careful because there are usually alot of kids. Very family friendly
