A delightful afternoon at this small, walkable and family friendly addition to this fishing town. Free parking, nice amusements, rides and boardwalk games. We ate at the Lighthouse Buffet overlooking the waterfront and strolled along the boardwalk. The breeze off the water helped make the high temperatures bearable. Only about an hour or so from Houston.

It was fun, but very crowded. we went a a few rides with the kids. The prices of the rides were high priced we thought. I found out later that closer to the end of the pier they have a petting area of sealife.

Looks like a great time for families, just don't visit on a Monday as everything except the rides are closed. Bring lots of money!!

Beautiful in every way. I highly recommend a visit. You will be happy you did. A must see attraction; especially if you love the water. Beautiful view of the Coast.

I guess we shouldn't have expected that much... For the price of the day pass there isn't much to do... the wooden coaster was the best ride in the park but be prepared to be thrown around like a ragdoll! The other rides were a bit lame. The rocket drop was a single drop that cost $4?!! overall, if you... More

We went for an afternoon and evening during the week. It was so empty! We barely had to wait for any rides. I love that there is so much for the younger kids to do. Our favorites are the train ride and Ferris wheel! I can imagine that it might not be that fun for older teenagers with only a... More

Overall Kemah Boardwalk is a decent place with plenty of choices to eat and some entertainment. However, given how busy it is and the fact that you almost certainly have to pay to park, its not my favorite choice for entertainment in this area. If its close by its worth visiting but I personally wouldn’t cross Houston to get here.... More

Had to work in the area and after work I stopped by the place, since I was to Coney Island just a few weeks ago and how could I pass up a ride on a wooden coaster. I did not expect much. However.. this little beast is quite a ride. I would have liked to do it a few more... More

Very fun place for the kids, merchandise is expensive but the rides were fun. Keep in mind to bring sunscreen and plenty of water. There is a new zipline ride called the Iron Eagle that was great fun. Plan for traffic and crowds. Great on a hot day, wear swimming clothes and sandals as there is a splash pad over... More
