This masterfully designed Greg Norman golf course can be played from 5,000 to 7,100 yards with multiple tees, sod-wall bunkers with white sand and greens that are generous, subtle and approachable. The par-72 course is nestled among a multitude of hardwood trees, creeks, lakes, and wetlands terrain - framed by true native prairie grasses and wildflowers - all of which promote creative shot strategy.Among the facility's most notable features are its GN-1 (hybrid Bermudagrass) tees, fairways, and roughs all created by Greg Norman Turf Company. The putting greens are Floradwarf and the perimeter roughs are native grasses and wildflowers.

I enjoy Meadowbrook but haven't played since the last three times I have, it has rained. I know it's just timing but its a hard enough course without your ball plugging. The only complaint I have is there was not enough beer carts to take care of our thirsty group. Perhaps its improved since. Driving range is nice.

Not sure why some people have negative reviews. We went and everything was in really good condition. The greens rolled true and were well taken care of. The fairways are better than some of the greens I have seen at other courses in the Houston area. The design is very challenging and when we went we had to battle 15-20... More

Glad I got a super cheap green fee on Golfnow, otherwise I would have been back in the pro shop demanding my money back. I have played Meadowbrook Farms many times in the past and have found it to always be in pretty good shape. Not this time. We started out and only thing I noticed on the first few... More

Reference Golfnow.com coupon. "BUYER BEWARE". We purchased a special rate to Meadowbrook Farms Golf Club on 9/14/2015. $89 for two rounds of golf. We arrived at the golf club at 12:05pm. for a 12:45 tee time. Upon arrival we observed a tournament (50+ golfers) being escorted out on the course for a shot gun start. Once inside the pro shop... This is one of my favorite courses in Houston. From the back tees, one of the more challenging courses I've played. A little pricy on weekend mornings - about $85 - but worth not battling the 5+ hour rounds at Cinco

I have played the course several times over the years and I like it very much. The back nine is better than the front nine but the course is very nice and a good challenge. Tey the food in the bar after your round as it is excellent.

MFGC is a challenging course , the fairways and greens are maintained but could be managed better . They book there tee times very close together so no matter how good of a player you are you will always have someone waiting behind you and a course Marshall telling you to hurry up. I have played here a few times... More

Its a great place to play a round of golf. Bring plenty of balls if you are not at least a B player.

This Greg Norman designed course was a local star when it first opened. Now it is starting to show its age and lack of upkeep. A relatively challenging course, with a good chance of lost ball if you miss the fairways by more than a few yards due to the trees and dense underbrush. Greens roll good but the fairways... More

This Greg Norman designed course is challenging and beautiful. It's just a few years old, so the trees are not yet all mature, but give it another ten years and it will be one of the best around!
