This is a free public observation area/park by the west side of the DFW airport. This area provides an unobstructed but distant view of aircraft landing or taking off, also the live radio communications between flights and DFW towers are broadcast here. This is not a very large area; also has a few benches for people to relax and observe... More

Quite a nice place to enjoy seeing planes land and take-off from the DFW airport. A must go place. Fun and worth a visit...

this place is great to watch planes and land at DFW airport. It is on the west side or airport. Many large cargo planes use this runway as well as large passenger plane there is speakers on so you can hear the tower.

With my grandson, visited the park and was quite impressed! Great parking, nicely landscaped, ATC communications on the speaker at the middle of the parking. Lots of steady activity with planes landing from the north. Bonus was the afternoon arrival of a Quantas A380 super jumbo from Sydney, which flies back in the evening. Good signs to direct you from... More

If you are into birds this is the place for you. You can watch planes from EMB140s all the way to Airbus 380s take off and land. Nothing like watching a silver mad-dog take off and land.

This unique observation area is located on the other side of the fence from DFW Airport. It features live chatter between Air Traffic Control and Pilot's operating flights. There are sculptures and historical timelines that are interesting.

Situated at the end of an active runway, you get a front seat to landings/departures, even listening to transmissions from aircraft on final approach. Awesome! And the best, IT'S FREE! Great setup, secure, & very clean. Bring a lawnchair & sit a spell😉

As a native Texan I can't believe I didn't know about this place! It's an interactive park wonderfully close to a main runway at DFW airport. The website says it's open from 7 AM to 7 PM but we went around 7:30pm and it was still open and a lot of people were there. There is a lot of lawn... More

This is my favorite place in Dallas!! My fiancé brought me here on our first date and it has been my favorite place ever since. I have always loved watching planes take off and land. You are able to get a front row seat to watching them land here. My fiancé is a pilot so I find it fun that... More
