Description:

The Corris Craft Centre, where the King Arthur's Labyrinth adventure...

The Corris Craft Centre, where the King Arthur's Labyrinth adventure starts, is a National Tourism Awards finalist in the Best Day Out in Wales 2015!

This storytelling adventure is time travel at its best as you're swept underground by a mysterious hooded boatman and through a magical waterfall; your gateway to the Dark Ages and to the life and times of King Arthur.Once docked, your boatman guides you around the vast caverns and winding tunnels of the Labyrinth where you'll find ancient stories of King Arthur and other Welsh legends too.

Enjoy stories of the mighty King Arthur who came out of the darkness to face formidable Saxon invaders, stories of dragons foretelling Celtic glory, of a giant so colossal he waded across the Irish Sea, of King Arthur's final battle - the Battle of Camlan and more; all brought to life through dramatic scenes, light and sound. This is a real adventure for young and old whatever the weather - a cool attraction when hot and a dry attraction when wet.

Great fun!

This was a great value trip for both adults and kids. The tunnels and caverns that you walk around are amazing, and you also get to travel in a boat underground-which is great fun.

The underground stories of King Arthur are well researched, engaging, and well presented through a series of mannequin dioramas (including some very lifelike dragons) and audio narration. The hooded guide helps to add atmosphere as you walk around. He warned about cave-ins (throwing a rock into the underground lake when no one else was looking!) but reassured my son who... More

My granddaughter and I had a wonderful time here. We had booked the Labyrinth tour and the Stone Circle. I booked on-line which gives a discount if both attractions are booked at the same time. We had to book a timed slot for the Labyrinth. We arrived at the appointed time and were kitted out with a non-optional helmet for... More

We first visited King Arthur's Labyrinth in 2005 and have returned several times. It is an imaginative use of an old slate mine as you are met by a silent, cowled figure and taken on a boat ride through the mines beyond the waterfall, where you are escorted through dimly-lit tunnels to larger caves. There, a series of tableaux, tell... More

Great attraction for adults and children. I had a fabulous time. On a boat on a river in the caves. Then through the labyrinth. Great story told about king Arthur. A must do, I can't wait to go again.

Visited with two small boys and even the four year old was kept interested, the eight year old really got into the story. Having a boat trip underground was a surprise and our guide kept us entertained with his humour. The total visit takes about one hour, the only problem is the cold in the tunnels, no surprise there but... More

My partner and I really enjoyed this trip. Visited whilst on a family holiday last week,m when we left our 2 year old son with his Grandparents. I will say, I was really glad that we left him at home - whilst the trip is amazing for children as well as adults, somone as young as our son wouldn't have... More

We are really pleased to read how much you enjoyed your adventure into the Labyrinth. We do advise our visitors that King Arthur's Labyrinth may not be suitable for very young children for the reasons you describe so well in your review. Some young children really enjoy the visit and find it very exciting to be underground whilst others can... More

This was a very well put together trip, which took us deep under the mountains. Apparently the mines over over 40 miles long which walks that can take up to 4 hours. The guy also mentioned there are caverns as big as Wembley stadium! So yeah, huge place. So we travelled by foot to a certain point to which we... More

Thanks for your great review! We're really pleased that you enjoyed your visit and the underground setting for King Arthur's Labyrinth. You only get to see a really small part of the underground tunnels and caverns on our adventure. However, more can be seen on a Corris Mine Explorers trip which takes you into different levels of the old Welsh... More
