Description:

The Corris Craft Centre, where the King Arthur's Labyrinth adventure...

The Corris Craft Centre, where the King Arthur's Labyrinth adventure starts, is a National Tourism Awards finalist in the Best Day Out in Wales 2015!

This storytelling adventure is time travel at its best as you're swept underground by a mysterious hooded boatman and through a magical waterfall; your gateway to the Dark Ages and to the life and times of King Arthur.Once docked, your boatman guides you around the vast caverns and winding tunnels of the Labyrinth where you'll find ancient stories of King Arthur and other Welsh legends too.

Enjoy stories of the mighty King Arthur who came out of the darkness to face formidable Saxon invaders, stories of dragons foretelling Celtic glory, of a giant so colossal he waded across the Irish Sea, of King Arthur's final battle - the Battle of Camlan and more; all brought to life through dramatic scenes, light and sound. This is a real adventure for young and old whatever the weather - a cool attraction when hot and a dry attraction when wet.

We visited this attraction on the way back from a weekend away. It's great for kids and as it was really hot not bad for adults who wanted respite from the sun either! The underground caves were huge. The outside maze was in need of being tidied up though as it looked half finished with buckets and tools all over... More

As part of a recent visit to Wales, the family (kids age 10 & 12) did both King Arthur's Labyrinth and the Corris Mine tour. This tour has lots of potential with a boat ride through a flooded part of the mine and large caverns, but it was more focused on tangential story telling and props than anything to do... More

Thank you for your review. King Arthur’s Labyrinth is an underground storytelling adventure which sweeps visitors back in time to the Dark Ages for ancient Welsh stories of King Arthur and other traditional Welsh legends too. The stories are told in vast underground caverns which create a dramatic backdrop for the ancient tales. We entertain a lot of families but... More

The caves are absolutely stunning, really beautiful but the models and storytelling really don't do them justice. The guides have a very fast walking pace and it felt like we were being rushed in and out to get he next group in, you couldn't truly take in the vastness of the caves. The story just doesn't seem to... Fit? And... More

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to read that you didn’t seem to enjoy your underground adventure. As you say the caverns and tunnels are stunning and provide a perfect backdrop for the retelling of the ancient Welsh legends. The visit around King Arthur’s Labyrinth is timed, in such a way, to allow a steady walking pace from... More

We visited both the labyrinth and the story stone circle and had a brilliant afternoon. We were 2 adults and 2 boys (4 and 9). We arrived, got our tickets and, as we had half an hour or so to wait till the next tour, let the boys play in the playground for a while. We assembled for the intro... More

King Arthur's Labyrinth is well worth a visit if you are near to or in the area. We swung by on our way home and decided to stop by. For the time it takes to go around, it can be considered a little pricey for some people. We booked this up and had to wait 45 minutes as they only... More

Thank you for deciding to call by on your way back home, it's great to read that you enjoyed your visit. As you said, you sail underground by boat which has a limited capacity. We are pleased that you were able to enjoy the 9 craft studios of the Corris Craft Centre whilst you waited for your sailing time. The... More

NB Visited June 2014 - this review is long overdue! This was one of the best places we visited during our 1st Year Wedding Anniversary holiday. It was nice to wander around the different studios and see the creativity and handiwork of local people. The underground boat ride had a very dramatic start and dramatic setting; however, would have preferred... More

We went to a few caves already and Im so glad this one didnt prove just another one. I loved the theme so in tune with the area. The guide was funny scaring all the ladies in the dark tunnels. Quite a few shops to choose from. We loved it. Bit chilly and slippery inside so need good clothing and... More

We had a nice time but would of preferred being able to explore independently at times. Would like to have had interesting facts about the rock formation too.

Thank you for your review. King Arthur's Labyrinth is an underground storytelling adventure where you join a Dark Age Boatman on a magical journey back to the Dark Ages. We visited the labyrinth June '16 and had a good time. I was a bit worried when the lady taking us in hardly spoke and was very straight faced. However she was just fitting the hard hats, and leading us to the boat. The boatman guide was amazing. He was lively, interactive, helpful, knowledgeable and funny. Only downside to the... More
