So beautiful. I didn't know there were so many kinds of roses that would grow in Central Texas. The grounds are laid out for a lovely stroll; I got awesome photos that I still enjoy today. This is a great weekend afternoon outing.

The emporium has just about every variety of rose known to mankind plus lots of other interesting plants for sale. The grounds are beautiful. After strolling and buying at the nursery it is fun to eat at the Brenham airport diner.

We were from Houston and visited here in March. The three of us ladies enjoyed all of the plants besides all of the roses. Lots of neat gift items too!

The Antique Rose Emporium is first a nursery specializing in roses. But it is also a wonderful garden, full of great ideas. There are lots of little garden "rooms", making it fun to wander around and fantasize about how great your own garden would be if you just had the space, the time, the money, and the staff. Looks like... More

Many of these pioneer roses were found at old cemeteries or alongside country roads. Don't want to sound like an ad for the emporium but seeing Old Blush reminded me of my great, grandmother's garden.. So many roses that you can purchase. Just remember it can be very hot out there.

Loved the setting for the roses. Spend the morning and pick out plants to take home and create your own garden.
