Wonderful winery! Best sweet wines!
Oct 2017 • Friends
Disznoko is one of the most known wineries of Tokaj region (known by sweet wines), in Hungary. We came here to visit the winery and taste some different sweet wines: it was a wonderful experience! At first, we visited the winery with the staff, who was very friendly with us. In fact, we could enter in the facilities, where the wine is produced and we enjoy with very nice views of surroundings. After, we went to the old part of the winery and we could taste some of wines: dry ones, late harvest one, Aszu with 3 puttonyos, with 5 puttonyos and with 6 puttonyos, and the most wonderful wine or nectar: the essencia. Incredible!
Also, the place has a restaurant, but pitifully we can not go there, because it was full and we had not a reservation.

Worth to visit, taste and buy
Jul 2017 • Couples
We have been here 4 years ago, and happy to note that wines did not changed in quality and price (11 eur for a set of 5);personnel is flexible (Gabriella and Tony easily organized wine tasting despite a short notice), very enthusiastic and passionate about the winery, fluently communicates in English, ready to share with facts and knowledge.

PET FRIENDLY! :-)

Elegant, modern and traditional

If you want to visit a traditional but modern winery dont miss the Disznoko, the restaurant (named Yellow winehouse) in this wineyard and the view from the "Disznókő" (means pig rock) is amazing.

The best Tokaj region winery
Jun 2015 • Family
A great place to visit to enjoy lovely Tokaj wine and to see the beautiful cellars. It' a bit further off the main city of Tokaj, but visiting Disznoko is truly worth it. They've got many tasting packages, lovely guides that also speak English and are very informative on the wine you're tasting. Moreover, their sweet wines are divine and I prefer dry for most parts. Diznoko has this wonderful balance between sweet and a hint of sour that makes their wine a delight to drink. One of the few places you can try (and buy) Eszencia, the creme de la creme of Tokaj wines. We always buy at least a carton of wines when we visit here. Highly recommended!

Great wines and great wine guide Gabriella
Sep 2013 • Couples
We have visited Disznoko vinery in 2013; it was a part of our travel to Tokaj region. During the travel we have met different wine guides and attended dissimilar vineries, hence I'd like to state that each one is unique and has its own advantages.
Disznoko vinery's distinctive advantages are followed:
1) Gabriella Hazslinszky, who is professional, great wine guide (although she does not drink :-) ) She is very enthusiastic and inspired with Tokaj wines and Disznoko; apart from it she is able to share with her passion
2) Great location, just a short bike distance from Mad city, the heart of Tokaj
3) The vinery is pinpointed to a slope of a hill, so there are plenty of marvellous views all around
4) Architecture of the vinery is worth to be mentioning, as the place has been renovated recently
5) There is a good restaurant between the main entry to vinery and the road; food was delicious and reasonably priced.

We were so charmed with the wine tasting experience here (we were tasting 6 different wines each, 11 EUR), and we came back to the place once again couple of day later to buy extra bottles of vine and meet Gabriela once again :-)
