Went to this very small winery for the first time. Wines were consistently pleasant and competently made. Nice staff though not able to answer some of my questions. Still, a pleasant tasting and enjoyable wines. Good as a walk in tasting.

Our driver took our group of 12 here for a quick bite to eat between wine tours...the live music was nice and we had the place to ourselves. Unfortunately, the very limited menu was limited further due to them being out of 2 of the 6 items available. We spent more than an hour waiting for everyone to get their orders and ultimately 3 people in our group had to take their food to go so we didn't miss our next stop! I don't normally leave subpar reviews and I hope this is just a on off experience. If you have a group planning on finding somewhere to eat, I would check out somewhere else or at least call it in so they don't get backed up by 6 sandwiches, 4 personal pan pizzas and a salad. The location is serene, the server very helpful with describing the wines, and very near some wineries for proximity.

Of the many new wineries dotting the Texas Hill Country landscape, this is one to watch! Laura and Karl combine their passion for wine with Laura's qualifications as a chemist and Karl's work as a world-class award-winning chef. The tasting room is cozy, set in the middle of a beautiful plot of land (now being prepped for planting estate-grown varietals) just off Highway 290 near the town of Hye. Warm, friendly hospitality and fresh-grilled food is offered, and it's fun to learn about Texas terroir and wines from Laura. I tasted 6 wines here - all excellent. The Hyeland White Blend holds its own against the big names in Napa: combining French, Italian and Spanish varietals (all grown in Texas of course) into a beautifully refreshing white with strawberry and peach notes and a tart citric acidity. The Mourvedre is also wonderful: very light but with full red fruit on the palate and a long finish. A delightful winery to which I look forward to returning!

NO BISTRO !!!!
My friends and I chose this Winery for the Bistro menu shown on their Website. We went out of our way to have lunch there. When we arrived, we found out that they don't have a Bistro or serve food. When we questioned the staff as to why they shown a Bistro on their Website after being told that they didn't have one, they became defensive and rude. Very unprofessional. We didn't bother tasting their Wine. It's probably as
nasty as their attitude. They should update the Website accordingly.

There are too many quality Wineries in The Texas Hill Country to waste time and money at this one. The staff and owner were unprofessional. (Maybe we just caught them on a bad day). We found the Wine to be overpriced and sub-par. The unconditioned Warehouse will be very uncomfortable in the Texas summer.

Zero815 is a relatively new winery. It had some nice wines. One of the reasons we started there, was because they offered food. The food was just ok. Most of it was served cold... (pizza) and the sandwiches were cold as well. The chicken was a bit tough... hopefully in time this will get better!

Our group was the first to arrive at 10 AM. The staff all participated in sharing the stories and the difference in the wines. Afterwards we sat on the patio and talked with the owner at length and how they came up with the name. Their wines, even though an upstart vineyard and winery are very good and would compare their atmosphere of tasting with Napa!

This was a return trip from last year's enjoyable visit with owner Laura.Hogsett and her staff. Plenty of parking is available and we were made to feel right at home. Tastings of her variety of wines with some snacks hit the spot. Especially visually appealing is her new and expanded wine tasting room and patio - a major enhancement from a year ago!! Congrats to Laura for making this happen!! We shall return again!!

Had the pleasure to stop by this winery. They have some pretty tasty blends and not a sweet wine in the house. Staff was great including pup Tilde. Worth it.

My wife and I were here for a tasting and Laura Hogsett (Owner) was very welcoming by sharing with us her industry knowledge and her awesome wines. We tasted a variety of reds and whites that were all very appealing. Her wine club, known as "Sip", has many membership benefits and options that warrant consideration. We enjoyed her products enough to take several bottles with us!! We highly recommend this winery and plan to return in the future.
