Community theater is critical.

Critical to explore creative aspects of our minds, to express emotion, to see performance and art as a beautiful form of entertainment.

Community theater is critical as a form of expression, to see others with new eyes and to better understand how we affect those around us.

The Artisean Theater does all these things and more - from local acting and children's programs to well produced and critically-acclaimed performances.

Support local theater and support the Artisan Center.

I saw Les Miserables on Monday, May 17. The acting and singing were truly amazing! I’ve seen many other shows here in past 15 years and I have always been pleased. My favorites have been Big River, the Scarlet Pimpernel, and Singing in the Rain. Truly a Gem among theaters and highly recommend Artisan for the best in family theater!

We purchased tickets for two plays in December of 2019 for the Summer season. Plays obviously cancelled due to pandemic. Emailed the box office two times and called and asked for a refund. Tickets purchased on American Express. Usually refunds are made in a week or less. Was told they would mail me a check in EIGHT weeks. If you purchase something with a credit card the money is refunded back to the card. They refuse to do it. Called AMEX and filed a complaint. They have lost a customer forever! BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES!

As a Hurst resident I have attended many of their performances. Never saw a bad one. This small venue makes you feel really connected to the petformers and the play.

We've seen a few plays here. They were all excellent. The children's plays are wonderful, always filled with unexpected laughter. You will not be disappointed.

Attended the production of 'Always Patsy Cline' - the talent was absolutely wonderful - they also, interacted some what with the audience, just added to the evening. Looking to attend this theatre again and again. This is definitely a 'must do'!

Having gone a few years without attending a local theater production, I had forgotten how much effort the players put into a production. Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat had everyone hopping. This was produced in the round so the full house got to see it all.

Joseph, Amazing technicolor dream coat. A wonderful musical in a small intimate surroundings. With the stage in the center, it gives a totally different perspective in live entertainment. We came here 8 years ago, still maintains the same magic!

Intimate seating and great local talent. Best theater in the area at a very reasonable price. It would also be a great introduction to the theater for younger people (children and teens) and a good way to spark interest in acting.

Small community theatre; about 45 players delivered an engaging performance of West End’s “Zorro the Musical”; Theatre-in-the-Round style stage. Quality singing, dancing, acting, sword fighting... very entertaining!!
