I recently visited The Blue Lagoon to get some SCUBA time in the water after several years off. The facility is easy to find, organized and run well. They have both air and EAN on site. There are no showers or changing areas only porta-potties so in that regard it's a little "rustic". There are quite a few areas that... More

This place is fantastic! The staff and owner are so friendly. I finally had a chance to get certified and picked this place to do it. They have a convenient set up, offering a 2 and a half day training period! They even offer overnight stays if you live too far to drive back and forth at no extra charge.... More

We waited 2hrs to get inside after waking up at 6am & driving an hour & a half away in the summer time in Texas! So you would imagine the epic disappointment that could happen after going through all of that! And I couldn't have been more satisfied and pleased with my visit! It's beautiful and private. And once you... More

My friends and I have attempted to go to the Blue Lagoon twice in the past month. The first time we went, the family in front of us got the last space. They were not sure if they were going to stay since they had small children, so we were waiting for them to check out the spot and make... More

Easier for non drivers to get in on weekdays but even then you have to be there early. This place was beautiful and quiet and everyone pretty much had there own area. Definitely coming back!!

Very nice family place to swim, scuba dive , or even camp. The area is very clean and the employees when you come in to register were very helpful. The place is very secluded and many people in the area don't even know that it existed, but it is a treasure to find.

I only rank this as "poor" from a swimmer only point of view. We were advised to get in line early so we arrived 3 hours prior to the Sunday noon opening time. We were waaaay late. The 27 spots were full; the first car in line got there at 9:30pm the night before and the last car they allowed... More

This is PADI first and foremost, so yes, be prepared to be turned away. I have been lucky enough to get in twice as a non diver. Everyone has always been so nice. Get there early and you won't have any problems. Please have consideration for others as not everyone wants to hear your loud music at 10 o'clock in... More

Spent the weekend at The Blue Lagoon diving with my husband. Great place to go to get a few dives before a big trip or to break in some new equipment. Visibility is better in morning before all the dirt is stirred up. Making reservations is highly recommended. Each site is large and able to accommodate very large groups. All... More

Primarily a diving facility, but swimmers are accommodated after 11am on weekends. There are 2 x small Spring fed lakes to choose from (old quarry pits) in this very picturesque location where you can back your car near to the waters edge for easy entry and exit. Visibility varies, but can be 10-15 feet on a good day. Can also... More
