This is a very nice place to take a driving break when traveling from Houston to Dallas. We have stopped several times. The staff at the shop is very nice as well.

I've always wanted to stop and decided this would be a great way to stretch our legs along. The kids enjoyed working along the trail and, of course, we got a photo opt.

traveling north on I-45 you can see Sam Houston from miles away. Very interesting statuary in total whilte!!!! Stop and take a look!!!

This was very interesting to see. The staff was very informative and friendly. It is a short walk through trees to the statue and it is amazing to see how large this is. Since there is no charge for this attraction it is worth stopping...More
