Very Nice

This is a very nice place to take a driving break when traveling from Houston to Dallas. We have stopped several times. The staff at the shop is very nice as well.

I've always wanted to stop and decided this would be a great way to stretch our legs along. The kids enjoyed working along the trail and, of course, we got a photo opt.

This was very interesting to see. The staff was very informative and friendly. It is a short walk through trees to the statue and it is amazing to see how large this is. Since there is no charge for this attraction it is worth stopping in to see.

If you have ever desired to see a really large man from the last century dressed entirely in white, with a huge cane, this is your chance.

The Sam Houston Statue is incredibly giant and really needs to be seen up close to be appreciated. I had driven by it probably five or six times before stopping to give it a closer look.
