About
Speedy's Fast Track is located near the Heights/Spring Branch parts of Houston and is a family entertainment center with four go-kart types, over 150 arcade/video games, laser tag and an 18-hole mini golf course. We do have minimum age and height requirements for our venues, so please visit our website for that important information before visiting us. Thank you!

Top entertainment place you should visit while in Houston. Prices don’t break the pockets meaning they have Packages to fit everyone’s budget. The Staff is great and are very friendly. So if you need somewhere to take the kids or even go on a date this is the place to go too.

I've been going to Speedy's for YEARS and have NEVER had a bad experience. It's a top notch place. ALWAYS clean and friendly employees. Would recommend to anyone for a FUN TIME!

Brought the family because of the reviews. They have all kinds arcade games, including pool tables, guitar hero.
The kart rides they have a good deal 4 rides for $30 and you have a choice of a $10 card to use or an extra ride.
For the arcade games, you would need to buy a seperate card and load money on it, you don't get tickets, any tickets you win it gets added to the card.

Thanks for your visit and review! I'm sorry we didn't respond faster, but TripAdvisor doesn't send email alerts of reviews left. I'm glad that our pricing worked for you, and that you enjoyed our arcade selection. We do use a game card system which has allowed us to be less wasteful and more "green" as games don't issue paper tickets anymore. What's nice about the cards, other than being more Earth friendly, is that we can allow for bonus play, which rewards the buyer in giving them more bonus cash for more money spent on the card. It's a win win for everyone!

We went here from out of town for a cousin’s birthday party. We had to pay 30 dollars per kid to do all the activities for 90 minutes. The laser tag that all the other kids at the party could do, my son was an inch too short. The lady was extremely rude at the counter. She has a terrible attitude and didn’t have any sympathy as my son was the only one who couldn’t play laser tag. Her excuse was the laser tag gun would touch the ground. Well in laser tag you hold the gun the entire time anyway. Really dumb excuse. My son was actually older than 2 is the kids that were able to play. Never will we go back!!

Thank you very much for your visit and review! You bring up several points in your review, so please allow me to respond to them all. Regarding "we had to pay 30 dollars per kid", here's a link to all of our pricing options, https://www.facebook.com/HoustonFastTrack/photos/a.217075898319380/3325889370771335 . The arm bands are a great option as they allow customers to play our non-ticket arcade games such as the air hockey tables, pool and all of our traditional arcade games (ie Jurassic Park, Walking Dead, PacMan, etc.), drive our go-karts and play laser tag for 90 minutes. If you grab your golf balls at the very end of the 90 minutes you can actually extend your stay as mini-golf takes at least 30 minutes to play. So one could easily visit Speedy's for 2 hours for only $30! Regarding the height stipulation for laser tag, I'm so sorry that you didn't visit our website prior to visiting us. Our Laser Tag rules are found at http://www.houstonfasttrack.com/lasertag.htm. We post them publicly just to avoid situations such as yours as we understand no one likes last minute surprises or disappointments. Just like our go-karts, we have height standards in laser tag as well that we have to abide by from the companies we purchase and lease our equipment from. Violating the terms of our lease can result in injury/accident to users of the equipment as well as damage to the equipment, which is why we can't allow for breaking of any rules we have to abide by thus jeapordizing our leases and purchasing abilities. We don't question the standards as we know they were created by the companies in accordance to the ASTM standards they have to abide by. In this time of heightened safety and security protocols and procedures we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in all of this. Please remember, per ASTM F2007-18 7.17.1: There are inherent risks in the participation in or on any amusement ride, device, or attraction. Patrons of an amusement ride, device, or attraction by participation, accept the risks inherent in such participation of which the ordinary prudent person is or should be aware. Patrons have a duty to exercise good judgment and act in a responsible manner while using the amusement ride, device, or attraction and to obey all oral or written warnings, or both, prior to or during participation, or both. 7.17.2: Patrons have a duty not to participate in or on any amusement ride, device, or attraction when under the influence of drugs or alcohol .7.17.3: Patrons have a duty to properly use all ride or device safety equipment provided. Hopefully the next time you visit any type of a facility similar to Speedy's you'll check their website first so as to avoid experiences such as the one you had and we thank you for this opportunity to explain our operating procedures. As I said, this is a time in which non-essential businesses such as Speedy's are operating under heavy regulations and it's nice to know that our employees are doing as they've been trained in upholding the safety standards, equipment operating procedures, etc that they're required to abide by.

My small sons requested to go ride go karts. I bought 5 tickets for the regular go-karts. As we waited in line my smaller son said he was too scared to ride alone, so i asked the guy while we were in line for the regular go karts if i could use 2 regular go-kart tickets to get on a super kart? He said yes. We rode and once done they wanted to ride again. I now had two regular go-kart tickets. I asked the clerk inside that i wanted to get on a super kart with my son. He took one of the regular go kart tickets and gave me a super kart ticket for an additional 2 dollars. When we went outside, the regular go-kart line was long, all the way past the divider fence. The super kart cart line was empty. I didnt want to go to the super kart line with my one son and have my other son all the way at the end of the other line. Not only would i not be able to get on any of the additional opportunities to get in a super kart yet because i wanted to go with my other son. So since they were flexible with the rules, i waited in the regular go-kart line with my other son. We waited for about 45 minutes. As we go to the front of the line, the super go kart line was now very long. The ticket guy named Thomas saw i had a super kart ticket, then said i couldn’t get on because i was in the wrong line. I let him know i had been there for 45 minutes and i didnt want to leave my son alone in the line. He then requested a police officer take me out of the line. I went to talk to the manager, who wouldn’t tell me his name. He said he would talk to Thomas about letting me ride. Thomas refused his request, then i just said give me a refund before things escalated. I was getting upset. I was given a refund, the manager refused to provide his name or any information to a supervisor. My sons were very disappointed that they couldn’t ride again. I will never go back to this establishment again.

TripAdvisor does not send out notices of reviews left, so I am just now seeing this. First, Speedy's is not "flexible" with rules. Two white tickets has always equaled one yellow ticket. Or one white ticket plus $2 equals one yellow ticket. Regarding queuing, the color of the tickets correspond to the color of queue you are to follow. We also have signage as to which queue is for which go-kart. This makes loading of the gokarts faster and creates less hassle. In general, to avoid hassles with businesses, especially those that have been around for over 25 years, I'd advise following all their rules, signs and directions, both posted and verbal. We also have a looping safety video that discusses queuing.

Great F1 cart racing. The fastest cart requires a licence to drive. It is tire shredding fun.
They have both new and old video game machines. We both had a ball.
The entire place is very clean. The restrooms were immaculate.
We will come back again.

My family and I went here during Christmas break. It was fun and affordable! The man working gave us great suggestions. We used the go karts, laser tag and a few other things. We had a blast!

We enjoyed the arcade at Speedys. They have some very nice pinball machines and some retro games I haven't seen in a while.
They have some of the cleanest restrooms around, especially for a place for children.
Lots to do besides just the race track. They also have laser tag and mini-golf and the games. Fun!

To the kids here to get them out the house for awhile was in town for the weekend it was this one or another one decided to go with this one and it was a good choice gokart Lazar tag and a lot of games to play they even had a lot of old came like pac man donkey Kong we had lots of fun will go back next time in town

Hello, I was wondering how much on average do the arcade games cost? If I were to buy a new card for 5$ I would get 4$ worth of play as well as 1$ in free play cash. So are games usually around 50 cents?
I was also wondering if I'd be able to use those same cards on machines like the pool table and air hocky table.

If it's your first time going you have to pay 5 for the licenses and 3 or 4 dollars for the head cap and to actually ride the gokart I think it was 20 something dollars a person
