I did not expect an Ice rink at a mall in Houston but here it was

The rink is very nice and it was packed- now this is mid week in January- where did all these kids come from? Do they not have school in Houston? Some of the best skaters were... read more

Nothing special about it, gets crowded at times. Good location, though - surrounded by restaurants. Good for visiting with kids - you can look after them from many points outside the rink.

The rink is very nice and it was packed- now this is mid week in January- where did all these kids come from? Do they not have school in Houston? Some of the best skaters were in my age bracket and I am retired that was refreshing. I grew up in South Dakota thinking they would not know how to... More

This is a fun activity, it is not cheap and it is crowded but a great activity for kids. If you want a ice skating experience take your kids

This rink is at the Galleria mall. There are lots of kids and older folks skating here. I didn't attempt to skate as when I was in Hong Kong at the Elements Mall. I decided to sit this one out as I found the ice bit too smooth for me to try as I was afraid of falling. However for... More

Typical mall ice skating one of the kids wanted to do. All skill levels of ice skating observed. Open viewing for the 3 mall levels.

This is good place for kids. Unfortunately, there are a lots of people, so it was not easy to enjoy ice skating. But, main event in Galleria is shopping of course. So, adult can enjoy shopping, kids can enjoy ice.

Good place for family. It was very crowded when we were there. But it was very fun, and it is right in the Galleria mall

This is a great way to thank your kiddos for behaving while you dragged them through the mall for a few hours. The cost was $15 to skate and get renal skates. My daughters (9 and 7) skated for an hour and half and had a blast. It's in the food court of the mall, so you can grab a... More

I visited the Galleria last December and the ice rink was opened to the public. I did not have the nerve to skate, but watching the skaters was just as much fun for me, and safer. Some of the skaters looked like they had been on skates for years.
