Spent all day at the space centre. Pay for parking and around 30dollors for entrance. But well worth it . The train and visits around site takes 2hrs. The guides are exellient very well informed. Plenty for children to see and learn.

You can't visit Houston without checking out the Space Centre! We drove from central Houston and had no trouble getting there on Houston's excellent freeway network. The Space Centre is huge with lots of interesting exhibits. The tram ride was excellent, with a visit to...More

I've lived in Texas for almost 50 years and never visited the Space Center until recently but wish we had come sooner. Both adults and kids loved it. Note that a few of the interactive "rides" inside are extra but very enjoyable. Be sure to...More

I am not one of those science nuts (my husband is), so the Johnson Space Center was one of those travel compromises we make with our spouses. I loved it. The interactive exhibits were very interesting as were the many support movies; however, for me...More

We went on a weekday. The exhibits and children's interactive area were a bit outdated and many of them were dirty or broken. After a while we didn't want to try any of the hands on activities just because they all felt very oily or...More

This was a much awaited visit. A trip to Texas is not complete without visiting the Space Center. If anyone plans to go, I suggest to rent a car as the Taxi could cost you a lot up and down. (it depends on how far...More

It is hard to believe that 50 years ago the US put a man on the moon. The Space Center captures the spirit of that incredible human feat. To think about at that time the engineers at NASA had no personal computers but were using...More

If you are interested in space travel you will love the space centre. Well set up to keep the young and old entertained. Best to watch the movie in the cinema first before doing the train ride and walking around.

I had visited the space center in Florida years ago and enjoyed it very much. I was disappointed here in Texas. The attractions were boring and dated. I guess since the space program is not as active as in the past there is not much...More

Simplest way is to use Uber - I found t to be very reliable in Houston when I was there last month (pre-hurricane) but please check whether the Centre/tours have reopened before you travel following Harvey.

Thank you for including Space Center Houston in your travel plans, Ron! A normal general admission ticket is only valid for one day. It does include the NASA Tram Tour, but you could not reenter the center on a second day... More
