My favorite part of the tour was learning the history of The Heights. My tour guide, Cynthia, was a lot of fun with a great sense of humor and knew her stuff! I loved the Food at Tacos a Go Go the most but all the food was delicious. Although it was raining and chilly the group was is good spirits and having fun sharing this experience.

Our tour guide, Cynthia, was very nice and sweet but the tour was very average and I would not recommend to a native Houstonian or someone that has lived in houston for a while. The tour was structured so that she would speak about a restaurant for several minutes then you’d eat for 20 minutes and she wouldn’t talk and if you asked her something about the neighborhood, she would tell you to wait for the rest of the tour. Her knowledge on the neighborhood was very basic and I didn’t walk away knowing something unique about the heights or my food for that matter. But Cynthia was very kind. The food selections and the tour part of it were not worth the cost. The cup of carrots and celery and nuts (bird food) at revival market was very disappointing.

This was so much fun! Cynthia was an excellent guide and we learned a lot about The Heights neighborhood. The walk was beautiful, so many beautiful historic homes along the way.

This was so much fun!! The food was amazing and at places I’d never even heard of. The tour guide was wonderful and friendly. Learned a lot of interesting things from the tour part and just enjoyed the entire experience immensely!

Our group of eight really enjoyed the Downtown Walking Food Tour with Lisa. She was interesting and informative. Each stop was unique and the food was delicious. It was the perfect way for us to spend an afternoon experiencing Houston!
