I read that the water is being conservatively recycled; however this artificial waterfall does use a lot of Houston water and electricity. In years of drought this waterfall has been turned off.

Worth visiting, there’s a parking garage , bummer you have to pay $5 for 30 minutes but it’s not worth parking on the street in a no parking zone.

The place is very cool and is worth a visit if you are also visiting the Galleria mall next door. But I won't recommend coming all the way just to see this water wall because it is far from downtown Houston and the traffic around...More
I’ve been coming here for over 30 years, back when this was called Transco Tower Fountain...it is as breathtaking now as it was then...and is a definite must if in the area. Be sure and park wisely, they will tow!
