Good for groups, although the line for the buffet was a bit ridiculous. If dealing with a couple hundred people, more than one line would be appropriate. Staff was very good, patient and willing to share their personal knowledge of the product. AND...the beer was great!

Nice stop for an hour or so. The tour was really short, and didn't go into a lot of detail- there were a lot of kids on our tour, so maybe the guide didn't want to bore them? Anyway, it was interesting enough to tour the facility, and take in the murals. The beer hall was fun, and there is... More

From the amazing beer to the burger this place is awesome. Enjoyed visiting with Chef Ryan! Planned on a quick tour, but ended up staying for over 2.5 hours.

Really enjoyed our Saturday tour by the owner. He professes to be a fan of patrons, but he was kind of cold to the actual fans/patrons paying to take his tour. Brock seemed anxious for us to ask questions, but not so friendly to the people asking them. My brother-in-law is pretty well off and wanted info on investment opportunities... More

How could I not visit the oldest craft brewery in Texas? I liked the beer hall layout and the great service by the bartenders. The beers, however, were just okay. Lawnmower and Weedwhacker were really the only drinkable ones. My husband and I are not IPA drinkers, and the amber ale was not even amber. It was inexpensive and the... More

This is a fun place to visit and even hang out at. When I went which was actually quite some time ago they didn't serve any food at all. They had a few vendors who showed up from time to time but nothing official. It appears that has changed and the food I hear is pretty good. The tour is... More

While the parking is scarce, the beer is decent and served upstairs in an Oktoberfest-style hall. Seemed full of regulars on a Friday afternoon, which is always a good sign.

This brewery is neat, located in a refurbished building downtown. Their great room has a lot of seating for a happy hour or one of their events. They have food available too. Beer is good, they always have something new to try.

Everytime I have somebody in my home, visting Houston, I bring them here. We are always complaining how boring Houston is and this is a nice spot to visit. The beer is good, nothing close to any good German beer but, considering that is a local beer, it is ok to drink them all! And you can bring your own... More
