Raiders of the Lost Ark score performance

Such a wonderful feeling being taken back to my childhood watching Indiana Jones movies. I got to see the movie and a live performance of the score on my birthday!

The show would have been so much better if the camera operator would have at least caught on camera, to show on the big screens, more of the individual players besides just the singer all night or the electric... I've heard the HSS during free concert in a park - action held last summer. It was a really good experience. They play so good. I really enjoyed bass clarinet solo. You can follow their concert on twitter to learn more about the music played during their performance

The Houston Symphony offers an amazing experience of elegance and harmony. Check out the Zest section in the Houston Chronicle for all the resent showtimes.

My wife and I go to the symphony several times a year and never disappointed. It does help to know your composers as there are some I would rather not hear. I have heard people state after symphony they didn't care for the music, if they knew their composers wouldn't have occurred . They have a great pop series, lectures... More

This is great value ..a symphony that offers the widest range of music. The "Pops" recently featured the music of John Williams. They opened the season with Joshua Bell, the famed violinist and as well as the great classics, they innovate showing movies where the orchestra pays the sound track from the original. Coming soon is "Singing in the Rain."... More

We took our 9 year old to the John Williams tribute and it was wonderful. There were lots of fun touches, the orchestra was flawless and the venue is really nice. We were in the tippy-top and could still see and hear it all. We've already bought tickets for two more events in the coming months because we had such... More
