One of the nicest, cleanest zoo's I have ever been to. Over 6000 animals, 900 plus species. We really enjoyed our day and trip there.

After a 1 hour drive in from the suburbs we easily located the Zoo and its vast free car park. There were already several groups of schoolchildren so we were prepared for a noisy visit...this did not happen as the Zoo is big enough to...More

I’ve been to some great zoos (San Diego, London and London). Houston’s Zoo is not quite in the same league, but it is a pretty good zoo. The principal draw back of the Houston zoo is that it is in Houston, and if you’ve ever...More

Prepare for a lot of walking and a full day. Parking is always a problem as it it always busy. It would be wise to walk with something to drink or a snack. All in all a great experience.

I live in the DFW area and went to the Houston Zoo with family that lives in Houston. I don’t know what FOTAZ is. I wish I could help but I don’t want to tell you something that may not be correct. Sorry!

I believe there is a deep discount, but not for free. I recommend calling the zoo directly at (713) 533-6500.
