My friend and I booked a class for something fun to try. We would def do it again. It was their first class in their new space. It was large enough so no one bumped into one another and small enough to be able to chat with everyone. Lindsay was our instructor, she was fun and helpful. She made suggestions when needed and gave lots of tips throughout the evening. There are 4 stations that accommodate 4 people each. We shared the cooking with a fun couple and had a great time. Did I mention BYOB?! Yes, there are glasses, an opener, and a wine fridge waiting for you. We got there 30 minutes prior, enough time to wash hands, put on apron, open wine and meet the other participants. Parking was easy as was location.
The theme of the night was Death by Chocolate. I was skeptical at first but very pleased and satisfied at the end of the evening. The chocolate spicy dressing on the salad was fabulous as was the chocolate sauce on the filet. I would make this recipe at home, I can cuz they gave me the recipe to keep too.
A very enjoyable evening and we plan to go back many times! My husband, friends, neighbors and bunco group will all be invited! Remember this is a social night out and plan to have lots of fun learning something new. If you are looking for a serious Gordon Ramsey kind of thing, watch his show.

My husband surprised me as a xmas gift. We attended the basic sushi night in which we made 4 different rolls. It was great fun and the instructor (Cory) gave us hints through out the meal. The most helpful hints where for making the rice. It was very laid back. We all talked while the instructor ready for the next roll or got more rice ready. Don't forget, it is BYOB. They are able to sell beers and wines of your forgot yours. We plan to go back for other classes next year. It may be a little expensive, but still worth it.

My wife brought me as an anniversary gift. This place is top notch! It was a little pricey, but I felt like I couldn't have gotten a better value!
It used to be in a condo nearby (from what I understand), but now is in a small strip shop and is a very nice place. It's set up as tables of four where they chefs/instructors walk down the middle. If you came as a couple, you'll be sharing with another couple, but it actually made it more fun for us and we got to meet some great people! The chefs were so fun, friendly, and passionate. They really wanted to get to know people and help them learn to cook.
We cooked Caribbean food which included black bean crab soup, Fried plantain chips and rum salsa, jerk chicken, and rum cake. We made it all except the cake, which they cooked ahead of time. There was food enough for seconds or left overs, even sharing it between the four of us. Seriously as good as a really nice restaurant, more food than you would get there, and a lot more fun. Plus, you get to walk away with the recipe and know how to make it at home.
Make sure to bring some booze along. It's BYOB, but they usually suggest what would go well with the meal.

Given the recipe, the instructors pretty much leave you on your own to figure things out. Instructors do not take time to explain things thoroughly. You have to ask for help to be guided. And sometimes, the answer comes sarcastically. Not a very friendly and welcoming environment for younger students. They are probably used to having adult classes, but once you open a class for children or teens, instruction should be age appropriate. Very disappointed. The experience totally left a dent on my wanna-be chef.

Loved, loved, loved this place!! It was one of the best cooking classes I have EVER taken. This was a birthday gift from two friends. We did the Braised Short Rib class. The class was hands on and learned a lot. Kathryn was an awesome instructor. Want to go back for the Soufflé Class!! Had a great time with good friends and good food.

We went for girls night and had a great time. Bring a bottle of wine and make a night of it. We made crabcakes, homemade pasta and bolognese. So delicious!

This is our second visit to the classes offered by the Well Done Cooking class instructors. Our first class was the sauce class offered by Celeste and it was amazing. So much information to provide in so very little time. I would like to take this class again simply to absorb more of what she was teaching. The second class we attended was called "Dinner in Rome". The menu was amazing and this instructor, Kathryn was very patient and knowledgeable. The overall experience was fun and unique. I'd strongly recommend getting some friends together and going at least once. It's a great change from the typical evening out we've all been on a thousand times, and, the food is amazing. Also, if you're not careful, you might learn something while there, we certainly did. I'd provide 10 stars if possible and will be attending more classes.

This was a very enjoyable experience. Celeste & Kathryn went out of their way to make my wife & I feel welcome. We learned a thing or two, had fun, & will definitely be returning for future classes. I highly recommend the experience. Thank you both.

What it looked as a small house and some home-made attraction, it became in a very organized sushi cooking lesson, with a nice, knowledgeable and clear teacher explaining us how to prepare sushi rolls. I liked the idea to have everything on my table, ready to prepare the different types of sushi rolls, and eat them, sharing moments with the class (I did not know any of them, but it looked like we were friends from some time ago).

I think this is one of the best places to take cooking classes in town. They are very knowledgeable, helpful, encouraging and you get to taste everything you make. I have taken several classes at Well Done, they never disappoint.
