This trail has a lot of stops, starts due to the fact that it wraps around the parking lot of the University. It also sides to some major roads (Rice Blvd, University Blvd) so there are car fumes to deal with - along with noise....More
A wonderful place to run if you are in the area. The afternoon/ dusk time of day is a bit crowded. Otherwise I'd give it a 5. You can park on the west side of the campus. There is a lot that is cheaper than...More

Hi Leticia, I find parking at Rice expensive and confusing (some lots will be blocked off for events, etc). An easy spot is the garage for Rice Village two blocks away on Morningside, between Rice and University Blvd. If you park on the upper level, parking is free for the first couple of hours and then you can enjoy one of the many area casual restaurants after your walk or run - Hungry’s, Black Walnut Cafe, Torchy’s Tacos, many others!
