A sign on the door says the museum is open from 1 to 4 pm. Unfortunately, we waited a half hour and no one showed up to open the shop. The website says they’re only open Monday through Saturday. It annoys me to no end...More

So I’ve lived in Texas for 20 years and been to the Valley more times than I can count. I’m a veteran (retired USAF) but had NO IDEA that this place existed! It’s not big by any stretch but it was really moving. The fact...More

Don't miss a visit to view this powerful monument that served as the plaster model for the well-known bronze casting in Arlington VA. The detail in the faces of the six soldiers and their equipment is stunning. Stop by the crowded museum and gift shop....More

This is a wonderful memorial. So much to see on the grounds even before going to memorial. Definitely worth the price of headphones. By the way, there are BOGO coupons around town for the headsets.

I took my grandson here. It was very impressive and solemn to walk around the monument. The museum has a small, tight feeling to it but is packed with interesting and amazing things. Definitely worth stopping for.

Passed by this monument numerous times and never took the time to stop. Don't miss this. A raw documentary, with artifacts in the small museum, but a walk into the past of what our service people did for this country. This is the cast for...More

The statue and museum is adjacent to the Harlingen airport. Easy access and both the airport and the museum are small. Little walking at the museum. It has a 30 minute film, Marine Corps memorabilia, a Veterans Hall of Fame... More
