Very informational about the area! Original hospital, stagecoach depot, barns, farming equipment, & way of life in 1800's. They've added a new exhibit of Cheif Quanah Parker.

We've been by here many times and stopped for the first time today. No admission charge...donation only. Behind the museum is a collection of a restored historical home, hospital, and inn. You can go inside and tour these at your leisure with a little brochure...More

It's incredible how these people help the sea turtles and how much they care about what they are doing. They really need support to help to carry on this important mission. The lecture was great, watching a volunteer feed "Gerry" was very interesting. Seeing the...More

This makes a nice spot to learn of the history of the Rio Grande Valley. It is well worth a visit. Our guide was very informative, and had a great time telling us of the history of the area.

We enjoyed our time at the Harlingen Arts & Heritage Museum. The buildings were very well done and it was fun to wander through them at our own pace.

This museum is filled with treasures. The old buildings transported there are only a small part. The really interesting collection is in the big buildings in the rear. There are also temporary exhibits inside the front building. Some of them can be quite unique.

We enjoyed the little museum... It's old and tired in a few of the exibit buildings. But it gives a nice historic review of the history of the area. Stop in and enjoy it.
