If you are tired of doing the same fancy dinner in Dallas for your anniversary or anything special, try the Blackwatch Sail with Captain Dave and Ms. Deana we had such a great time and it was such a sweet deal. They went over our expectations with the setting and the food and specially the service. You can tell they love what they do and they are great at it. The food selection is meticulous everything was thought out. Who gets 270+ 5 star reviews unless they offer a really special experience. Captain Dave we love how you run your business and we have been recommending you to our friends and family expect to be fully booked again in the coming years!

Captain Dave provided a perfectly magical birthday evening! Admid Covid-19 concerns, my boyfriend wanted to find an activity for us to celebrate my birthday safely, while still being memorable. Black Watch Sailing Charters couldn’t have been better for the occasion! We selected meals prior to the cruise, were given detailed history about the boat itself, and enjoyed dessert and wine on the deck as we watched the sunset on Lake Grapevine. We also were lucky that it was almost a full moon and on the clear night, as we sailed back to the slip - we got to watch the moon rise as well.
We’ll be recommending Dave and his amazing tours to our friends and family looking to have a unique experience deep in the heart of Texas!

Where to begin from the start Captain Dave and Dina were amazing. They made us feel like we were the owners of this amazing hand crafted sailing vessel. The 4 course meal was outstanding, the portions were plenty, there were leftovers to take home. The wine pairing was perfect.
And then sailing at sunset, the perfect evening; Gentle breeze, almost full moon, perfect temperature, the whole experience was five stars and more.

Perfect way to spend an evening! Capt. Dave, Deana and Dobi made us feel at home on their beautiful sailboat. They are the ultimate hosts and we enjoyed every minute of our sunset sailing experience.

We have known Captain Dave for years but had never been sailing before. We decide our wedding anniversary would be a great opportunity to try something new. What an experience we had. The boat is BEAUTIFUL and strikingly clean (very important post- virus quarantine) The food was amazing, the service was 5 star and the company was delightful. Dave, Deana and Dobe (boat dog) were perfect hosts and truly made our celebration very special. Cant wait to sail again, Thank you so much!

Due to the pandemic, our honeymoon plans were shattered. But my incredible soon-to-be-husband determined that he would make things extra special. He surprised me with dinner and a sunset sail on Captain Dave's Fourth Watch, and I can not tell you how wonderful it was. Everything we ate tasted incredible. Captain Dave proved the most excellent host, making us feel like royalty. Then to top it off, the sunset sail that night took our breath away. I didn't think that Grapevine Lake could compete with Cancun for a perfect honeymoon, but it did and then some! Thank you Captain Dave for a magical experience!

Captain Dave and his beautiful Black Watch sail boat was beyond an amazing experience! I would rate 10 stars if I could! The boat is gorgeous and timeless. The ride was smooth and intimate. I booked a 2 hr morning sail for my wedding anniversary with my husband. Captain Dave took very good care of us. We sipped on mimosas and enjoyed a very relaxing sail ride. I highly recommend booking with Black Watch Sailing Charters. It is an incredible experience you do not want to pass up!

This was excellent, exquisite, one of a kind service. Captain Dave is very interesting, engages you with great stories, excellent service, delicious food and a beautiful, romantic experience. This was the beat birthday present my husband could have given me! We will be back for sure with friends and family.

Dave and his crew have an excellent thing going here. Wonderful experience, world class service, and a beautiful boat. We enjoyed our calm luxurious evening as we sailed away into the sun set. 10/10 and by far the best charter experience that both my wife and I have been a part of. This was a very special memory as it was the day I asked my wife to marry me. Dave made sure everything was executed flawlessly.

My adult children wanted my 60th birthday to be special. The sunset dinner cruise was spectacular!! Captain Dave & Dina made of feel like yacht owners. We will be seeing a lot more of Grapevine lake on this beautiful boat!
